The article examines the missionary and canonical activities of the Russian Orthodox clergy in the Horde during the period of pressure from the Catholic West and the Islamization of the Horde, the activities of the Sarai bishopric, aimed not only at the spiritual nourishment of the Russians in the Horde, but also at the spread of Christianity among other peoples, including those surrounding the Horde khans, interaction metropolitans and Sarai bishops with the descendants of Genghis Khan, which created a certain stability of the church organization in Eastern Europe.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran kedisiplinan pegawai dan menganalisis faktor-faktor disiplin kerja pegawai pada Kantor Kesatuan Bangsa Dan Politik Kabupaten Sarolangun. Metode penelitian yang akan digunakan adalah penelitian survey. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh pegawai pada Kantor Kesatuan Bangsa Dan Politik Kabupaten Sarolangun. Prosedur pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara menyebarkan kuesioner dengan sampel yang diambil sesuai dengan teknik pengambilan sampel dengan rumus Slovin, dan selanjutnya akan dianalisis dengan rentang skala. Hasil penelitian adalah kedisiplinan pegawai pada Kantor Kesatuan Bangsa dan Politik Kabupaten Sarolangun dimensi Kedisplinan yang dilihat dari ada tidaknya aturan pasti yang dapat dijadikan pegangan berada pada skor tertinggi dan berada pada kategori disiplin. Kedisiplinan pegawai pada Kantor Kesatuan Bangsa dan Politik Kabupaten Sarolangun dimensi Kedisplinan yang dilihat dari diciptakannya kebiasaan-kebiasaan yang mendukung tegaknya disiplin berada pada skor terendah dan berada pada kategori kurang disiplin. Rata-rata dari tanggapan responden terhadap ke 7 (tujuh) faktor disiplin tersebut disiplin kerja pegawai pada pada Kantor Kesatuan Bangsa dan Politik Kabupaten Sarolangun berada pada kategori displin

Im November 1914 rief der mit Deutschland verbündete osmanische Sultan den Heiligen Krieg aller Muslime gegen die Entente (Großbritannien, Frankreich, Russland) aus. Das wurde von diesen Mächten - aber auch von vielen Historikern - als ein vom Kaiser inszenierter Griff nach der Weltmacht verstanden. Im Gegensatz dazu wird in diesem Buch der Aufruf als asymmetrische Besonderheit des Krieges interpretiert, die aus einer Schwäche der Mittelmächte (Deutschland, Österreich-Ungarn, Türkei) resultierte. Die Revolutionierungsstrategie war demnach eher ein Notbehelf. Der Autor schildert die Geschichte geschickt agierender deutscher Agenten und zeichnet darüber hinaus das Bild eines selbstbewussten Österreich-Ungarn, dessen kreative Propaganda im Orient sich vor allem gegen den deutschen Verbündeten richtete.

Fight books can be much more than repositories of knowledge or cornerstones of tradition. In some cases they may also reflect fundamental changes in the intellectual and social life of a society and even attempt to change the latter for the better. This is very much true for the works of William Hope (1660-1724). In eight printed books the Scotsman covered a wide range of topics connected to smallsword fencing and duelling. He employed early scientific methods when developing his school of swordplay, reflected on the social implications of fencing, introduced the notion of "sport for better health" into early modern fencing, and sought to institutionalise fencing in order to curb violence. As a whole this reflects the mindset of the early Enlightenment as it started to flourish in Hope's native Scotland during his lifetime. This paper will answer the question of how the early Enlightenment influenced a set of remarkable Scottish fight books from the early modern period.

Der Beitrag untersucht im Anschluss an Bourdieus Konzept des "kulturellen Kapitals", ob im Religionsunterricht soziale Ungleichheiten bestehen. Dazu werden Ergebnisse einer aktuellen empirischen Studie (N=952) präsentiert und diskutiert. Die Ergebnisse zeigen, dass soziale Ungleichheiten zwischen Schülerinnen und Schülern in Bezug auf deren Geschlecht, Religiosität und soziale Herkunft bestehen.
