The purpose of research is to examine the mining potentials and policies that have been implemented in Lampung Province and to reformulate mining policies in Lampung Province, which on the one hand can improve the regional economy, on the other hand while maintaining environmental sustainability. Mining resources are a source of prosperity for the region, but it requires commitment from local governments, public institutions, the private sector and the community to conduct sustainable mining management. Sustainable management is able to meet the needs of the present, in the future and improve the health, prosperity of the environment and surrounding communities. Policies that can be carried out starting from licensing, monitoring post-mining land management, managing mine waste and compiling regulations that can support the realization of green mining and environmental conservation activities. The results of this study indicate that mining management in Lampung Province provides economic value to increase local revenue. However, it must be supported by environment-based policies, because mining activities have the possibility of an environment that becomes uncontrollably damaged. Efforts that can be done by local governments are by paying attention to licensing for managers, providing guidance, supervision, so that mining activities can be controlled and not damage the environment Keywords: Reformulation; Policy; Mining.

There have been few studies that highlight the use of metaphor in political discourse and election, but none of those studies focus on the election abstention –known in Indonesia as Golput phenomena- and the discussion of the intertwined components in metaphor. This research aims to investigate various metaphor components in the metaphorical description used to describe the abstention during the Indonesian election 2019 within the Conceptual Metaphor Theory (Lakoff and Johnson, 1980). Kovecses (2003) highlighted components of metaphor are also used to examine the essential components of conceptual metaphor in the use. The sources of data were from five foreign media reports that discuss the Indonesian issue of election abstention. The result shows there few essential components that can be revealed behind a metaphor such as the importance of mental image, cultural context, and highlighted elements in metaphor that contribute to the metaphorical function and interpretation

Indonesian health insurance (BPJS Kesehatan) has been facing financial deficit and during the coverage of its deficit, media frequently use many medical terms metaphor to describe the financial condition of BPJS Kesehatan. This study aims to examine the medical terms metaphor used to describe the financial deficit of BPJS Kesehatan to further identify the entailments and to pin point what is the cause of sickness and what could cure the sickness. Qualitative method is used in this study with conceptual metaphor theory (Lakoff and Johnson, 1980) as the conceptual framework. There 10 headlines from various online media outlet that are collected as the source of the data. The study examines the particular terms which described BPJS Kesehatan as a sick patient and further analysis is conducted to identify the closest entailments of metaphor, which are to identify who will be the doctor and what cause its sickness. The results shows that the particular conditions as metaphor used to describe the financial condition of BPJS Kesehatan is dying (sekarat), critical (kritis), swell (bengkak), and wound (luka). From the analysis of entailments, the doctor is the government equipped with medical supplies and procedures to cure the patient which is the financial subsidy and the second entailment is the cause of the sickness which is the lack of awareness from the member to pay the premium regularly on time.

One of the challenging thing for a job seeker during job interview is the lack of ability in answering the interview questions in English. This is caused not only because the poor English competence but also the poor knwolegde of the common job interview questions during recruitment process. The problem identified in this Community Service Program is the insufficient fund for training program of Balikpapan government, compare to the numbers of the job seeker. Therefore, cooperation with other party such as University to support any types of training program become one of the program that should always be conducted. The next problem identified is related to the lack of coomunication skills among job seeker in Balikpapan which in turn limit their opportunity in securing job especially during interview process that is conducted in English. The problem solving method is conducted in four stages, first is preparation, problem formulation, the training implementation and program evaluation. The Northeast region of Nigeria has been experiencing the devastating impact of Boko Haram insurgencysince 2009, which triggeredhumanitarian crisis and destruction of infrastructure,such as schools, hospitals, roads, bridges as well as homes and farmlands, leading to many becoming internally displaced persons and refugees. Both governmental and non-governmental organizations have been mostly providing relief services and materials, whilst only few Federal Government agencies and State Governmentsare providing reconstruction and rehabilitation due to insufficient sources of funds(Olaseni, 2012).The emergence of Sukuk to Nigerian Capital Market is a new development that provides alternative funding avenue for both State and Federal Governments to finance projects and infrastructure development for nation building (Alaro, 2020).It is against this backdrop that this study aims to reviewthe approaches of financing rehabilitation and reconstruction programmes in the Northeast and examines how the potentials ofSukuk financing could properly be utilized to complement the infrastructural deficit in the region. Thus, the research is an exploratory qualitative research that sourced cross sectional primary data collected through the use of structured questionnaire. Multistage purposive sampling method was employed in selecting the respondents for the study across the study area. Thematic Analysis was employed as the method of data analysis. The North East region of Nigeria has been experiencing the devastating impact of Boko Haram insurgency which triggered humanitarian crisis and destruction of infrastructure, leading to many becoming internally displaced persons in their country. The Federal Government and the Northeast State Governments, alongside the local and international Non-governmental organizations and development partners have been mostly providing relief services and materials to the IDPs, but despite all these efforts, there is still a funding gap, thus the need to bridge this vacuum; to supplement the efforts of governmental and non-governmental organizations in providing a long term and sustainable welfare model. It is against this backdrop that this study aims at unlocking the potentials of waqf financing model in catering for short-term and long-term welfare of IDPs in the Northeast and how the model could be properly utilized to complement the efforts of governmental and non-governmental organizations in the region. Multistage sampling method was employed in selecting respondents for the study. In the first stage, three States were purposively selected out of the six States of the region based on the devastation level by the insurgency. Thematic Analysis was employed as the method of data analysis. Both descriptive and inferential statistics were used to summarize and interpret the results of the thematic analyses of the data obtained. The findings of this research have shown the potentials of Waqf financing in bridging the funding gap of IDPs welfare in the north-east. The study also found out that food and clothing are the most critical areas that require immediate attention in the Waqf based IDPs welfare and that, the Investment Waqf Model will be the best means of financing the IDPs Welfare programme in the Northeast due to its modest unique potential advantages over other models. Nilai-nilai akhlak dalam kegiatan pramuka di MA Sunan Gunung Jati termaktub dalam Kode Etik Gerakan Pramuka yaitu Dasa Darma. Didalamnya memuat akhlak seseorang terhadap Allah (hablum minallah) dan akhlak seseorang dengan sesama manusia dan alam (hablum minannas). Implementasi nilai-nilai akhlak melalui kegiatan pramuka di MA Sunan Gunung Jati adalah dengan menerapkan dasa darma pramuka. Dari implementasi tersebut dapat terbentuk akhlak religious, cinta lingkungan, peduli sesama, keberanian, disiplin, tanggung jawab, ketaatan, dan demokratis. Faktor pendukung upaya pembentukan akhlak melalui kegiatan pramuka di MA Sunan Gunung Jati adalah lingkungan, dukungan dari orang tua, peran Pembina, kemandirian siswa, serta dukungan dari sekolahan. Adapun faktor penghambatnya adalah kurangnya durasi kegiatan, keterbatasan porsi Pembina, ketidakajegan siswa mengikuti latihan, sarana dan prasarana.Kata kunci: Akhlak, Pramuka, Madrasah Aliyah

: Indonesian political multi-parties system requires political parties to build a solid coalition in anticipating any election event, at all levels; national, regional, and local. The description of the way political parties build the relationship and how candidates seek support from a party is often described metaphorically as stages of marriage. There are few studies of metaphor in political discourse in the Indonesian context, but less attention is given to the detail of the use of the specific source domain MARRIAGE. This study aims to take a deeper look at how the marriage relationship context is used to describe the conceptual metaphor of political coalition establishment. The aim of this study is to identify the mapping principle from the Source domain of MARRIAGE to the target domain POLITICAL COALITION to pinpoint the particular properties that enable characteristics in MARRIAGE to be used as the metaphorical expressions. Conceptual Metaphor Theory (CMT) of Lakoff and Johnson (1980) and Deliberate Metaphor Theory of Steen, (2011) are used as the theoretical framework, with six news headlines about the political coalition from Indonesian online media news is purposively chosen as the data source.

The climate crisis is now become the world problem and a big environmental issue and has drawn attention of governments and media, the impact of the crisis can be reflected on how media describe the crisis using metaphors. The way media use the language metaphorically to describe the climate crisis is the focus of this study. Using conceptual metaphor analysis, researchers aim to identify the source domains of climate crisis metaphor which deliver the sense of urgency message related to climate crisis. The source of data is from ten news article from Guardian website which discuss the climate crisis. The result shows that various source domains are used to describe the climate crisis in metaphor: Climate Crisis is described as a War, as an Object in Motion, Directionality, a Vehicle, a Destination, a Political Ideology, a Wrestler, a Chemical Substance, and as a Natural Disaster. Although climate crisis is one of them described metaphorically as a destination where sooner or later without a drastic action, eventually the world will arrive there, but it implied an unwanted destination that should be avoided or else, turning back or stop towards the destination, and with the highest finding where climate crisis described as a war to fight and to combat, it shows that the climate crisis is a real threat to our world which everyone should take action to fight. This study shows that although the unintended entailments occurred, the source domain of war and destination deliver the sense of urgency of the climate crisis.

The global economic meltdown is a situation in which the economy of a country experiences a sudden downturn brought on by a financial crisis. This global recession was caused by so many factors, thus, inflation rate, exchange rate, interest rate, unemployment rate, etc. This paper examined the impact of the global economic meltdown on property development in Bauchi, Nigeria. Data for the study are mainly primary in the form of questionnaires administered. The study had property development as an endogenous variable while a high-interest rate and unemployment rate as exogenous variables to measure the constructs. Multiple Regression were used to analyze the data. Among the study, findings are that high relationship exists between the two predictor variables (High-Interest Rate & Unemployment Rate) and dependent variable (property Development) where 'R' of 0.724 means the correlation is about 72 %; with R2 of 0.052 indicate that 5.2 % correlation, the analysis also depict in coefficient table that high-interest rate has more influence on dependent variable (PD) than unemployment rate. The analysis signified that the impact of the global economic meltdown has a positive effect on the dependent variable. Based on the findings, the study recommended governments and financial institutions intervention to curb the impediment of property development in Bauchi, Nigeria.

Abstract. Indonesian Technical High School (SMK) serves a particular purpose in preparing its students with a hard skill based on trade skills. Nevertheless, when the students graduate there are still confusions among them on where to start to prepare for job searching and job application. This community service program aims to provide students of SMK Ibnu Khaldun Balikpapan with the information they need for job readiness as well as to support the government program in this case, the Balikpapan Manpower office. The material given is the stages that students shall take when start searching and applying for a job, and the main soft skills to improve,i.e: communication and cooperation. SMK Ibnu Khaldun is chosen by the Manpower Office Balikpapan, as the owner of this program as this is one of the private schools located in the suburban area of Balikpapan. The result of this community service program equips students with the knowledge that they need related to prepare for entering the industrial field. Abstrak. SMK memiliki fungsi khusus dalam mempersiapkan siswa-siswanya dengan keterampilan yang diperlukan berdasarkan kejuruan masing-masing. Meski demikian, saat para siswa lulus, masih ada kebingungan mengenai proses apa yang selanjutnya mereka lakukan dalam mempersiapkan diri mencari pekerjaan. Kegiatan PKM bertujuan untuk memberikan informasi bimbingan jabatan dan kesiapan memasuki dunia kerja bagi siswa di SMK Ibnu Khaldun Balikpapan. Selain itu, kegiatan PKM ini juga untuk mendukung program pemerintah khususnya Dinas Ketenagakerjaan Kota Balikpapan dalam membantu pencari kerja di Balikpapan. Materi penyuluhan berisi tahapan-tahapan yang perlu dipersiapkan oleh para lulusan dalam mencari pekerjaan dan soft skill utama yang perlu ditingkatkan, yaitu, komunikasi dan kerjasama. SMK Ibnu Khaldun dipilih sebagai sasaran pada kegiatan PKM ini karena dari Dinas Ketenagakerjaan sebagai mitra memang memilih SMK swasta yang terletak relatif jauh dari pusat kota Balikpapan. Dari hasil kegiatan ini, telah terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan yang berkaitan dengan persiapan memasuki dunia industri.

Abstract: Banda Aceh Mayor Office is a local government service provider to all people of Banda Aceh City. Banda Aceh Mayor Office commits to improve the management of public services, including by improving the work ethic of employees so as to increase the capacity of employees and affect career development. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of teamwork, work environment, and leadership style on work ethic and its impact on career development of Banda Aceh Mayor Office. Sample size in this study was 137 employees. Questionnaires were used to collect data. The data was then analyzed using SEM with the help of AMOS 22.0 program. The results show that teamwork, work environment, and leadership style have significant effect on work ethic and career development of Banda Aceh Mayor Office. Other results show that teamwork, work environment, and leadership style have a significant effect on career development of Banda Aceh Mayor Office through work ethic.Keywords: teamwork, work environment, leadership style, work ethic, career development.Abstrak: Kantor Walikota Banda Aceh merupakan penyelenggara layanan pemerintah daerah kepada seluruh masyarakat Kota Banda Aceh. Kantor Walikota Banda Aceh berkomitmen untuk meningkatkan manajemen pelayanan publik, termasuk dengan memperbaiki etos kerja para pegawai sehingga bisa meningkatkan kapasitas pegawai dan berpengaruh pada pengembangan karir. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh kerjasama tim, lingkungan kerja dan gaya kepemimpinan terhadap etos kerja dan dampaknya terhadap pengembangan karir pegawai Kantor Walikota Banda Aceh. Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 137 pegawai. Pengumpulan data menggunakan metode kuesioner dan dianalisis menggunakan SEM dengan bantuan program AMOS 22.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kerjasama tim, lingkungan kerja dan gaya kepemimpinan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap etos kerja dan pengembangan karir pegawai Kantor Walikota Banda Aceh.Hasil lain menunjukkan bahwa kerjasama tim, lingkungan kerja dan gaya kepemimpinan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap pengembangan karir pegawai Kantor Walikota Banda Aceh melalui etos kerja.Kata Kunci: kerjasama tim, lingkungan kerja, gaya kepemimpinan, etos kerja, pengembangan karir.

This study aims to evaluate the residents' satisfaction with public housing in the Maiduguri metropolis. The study assessed the levels of quality of housing components, occupants' preference and satisfaction. The study adopted a quantitative approach and data were collected through a questionnaire survey from 265 household heads of the housing estate proportionately selected from the target population in Maiduguri metropolis. The data collected were subjected to descriptive and inferential statistics with mean ranking, frequency distribution and multiple regression analysis to achieve the research aim. The study showed that quality of building component, Condition of a bedroom, condition of living room, condition of the roof, condition of finishing and condition of the kitchen were ranked as very good and condition of the store, condition of the dining area, condition of garage and condition of toilets were good in the study area, while public housing quality and preference significantly influence occupants' satisfaction in Maiduguri metropolis. The research recommended that occupant peculiarities should be integrated into the design and development of housing estate. This will ensure that the satisfaction of the occupants is well co-opted in the development and therefore lead to higher satisfaction and functionality of the estates. The provision of facilities and amenities in public housing estates should be based on the occupant requirements and peculiarities. This will lead to the optimal utilization of the estate after development.
