Leadership styles play an important role and position in pedagogical activities and school effectiveness because they play a major role in the learning process. The current study looked at the relationship between teacher leadership styles (including democratic, autocratic, transformational and transactional) and student academic achievement at the university level. Head of the Departments of Social Sciences and Master degree students made up the study population. Twenty-nine Heads of Departments (HODs) and two hundred and six students from five public sector universities in Khyber Pakhtukhawa were selected through simple random and stratified (proportionate) sampling techniques. Data was collected through a questionnaire, the reliability co-efficient of which was 0.72 and 0.82 for HODs and students respectively. The data collected was analyzed using Mean, Standard Deviation and Pearson Correlation. The study results indicate that teacher leadership styles are strongly linked to student academic success

This investigational work aims to analyze the body mass index (BMI) of elementary educational institution youngsters aged 7-12 years and to assess inner-city and pastoral youngsters in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (Pakistan). The target population was elementary educational institution youngsters, of whom 500 were sampled by simple random sampling from educational institutions in both out-city and inner-city locations. Data were collected by height and weight measurements and analyzed with SPSS version 20. Quantitative analysis instruments were employed. A comparative evaluation of the data reflected that the body mass index of inner-city youngsters was substantially better than that of their pastoral counterparts.

This investigational work seeks to analyze the speediness competence of 14-16-year-old high school teenagers to assess the municipal and pastoral residents of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) in Pakistan. The target group of the study was high school teenagers. Simple random sampling techniques were adopted to select the sample of five hundred [500] teenagers from the target population. A 20-meter sprint (20-MS) was employed for data collection. Data were gathered and evaluated by applying SPSS version 20. Quantitative analytical tools were employed for the analysis of accumulated data. The finding of the study reflected that the proportion of teenagers in pastoral areas was substantially better than in municipal areas.

Global pandemic, political instability and capital limitations through money laundering control mechanisms have exposed the foundations of capital allocation to an escalating risk of default. The situation prerequisites a review of contentious relationship between drivers of economic growth and stock market expansion. This paper seeks to examine the relationship between non-financial and banal drivers of economic growth and their relative impact on stock market development in Pakistan, building on the fact that financial market development is a direct outcome of economic growth and development of the generic capabilities of production and capital formation through profit trails. GMM approach is used to analyze the contribution of capital formation and allocation through generic productivity and risk allocation mechanism. The paper discusses GDP growth, Gross fixed capital formation, Private credit and use of IMF credit as instrumental in determining stock market expansion. Originality of the research transpires from the fact that key outputs of real sector have been added to analyze the development of financial market which have long been ignored as extraneous for empirical analysis.

Algebra is blamed as an abstract way of thinking in mathematics learning. Writing equations from given text is a skill. Logical and step by step noting information help to write the correct equation. It is transferring text to symbols. This study aimed to investigate secondary school student's misconceptions in writing equations in algebra. 414 secondary school students enrolled at 4 Islamabad Model Schools of sector Islamabad was the sample of the study. A multiple-choice test based on 4 items was used as an instrument. The test has 4 statements and 4 options from which one is the correct answer and others are related to some misconceptions of students. Test was administered during their class. Student's response patterns were observed. Frequency percentages and ratios were used to analyze data. Two types of misconceptions "arithmetic process" and "missing reference" were identified in student's responses whereas the other three misconceptions "pro-numeral as unit", "addictive nature" and "changes" were not reported by students' responses. It is concluded that the main reason behind these misconceptions seems related to classroom practice. Students try to translate words into the arithmetic process to write an equation by given text. Further, they do not focus on reference terms given in text and they ignore/miss it while writing equations. It is recommended to the teachers they need to clear the concept given in word problems and give teach them with logic what is meant by which word in the problem. There is a need for focused classroom activities to overcome these misconceptions.

Participation of college students in physical activities is necessary for their mental, developmental and academic growth. Understanding of the significance and guidance provided by mentor play a key role in promotion of students' participation in physical activities. Nevertheless, there are several factors which offer hindrances to active involvement of college students in physical activities. In this study, we investigated the prevailing barriers in participation of college students of district Peshawar (n = 400) in physical activities. Respondents were selected from all the Government colleges of District Peshawar (male and female). Results indicated that there were significant effect of the barriers regarding lack of facilities, playgrounds, sports gears, lack of parental and student's interest in their participation in sports in colleges. Based on students' responses, the most prevalent barriers in promoting physical activities at college level were busy study schedule (86 %), lack of parental and social interest (84 %), parental preference of academic achievements over physical activities (82%) and negligence of sports activities in college time table (79 %).

Purpose: This research aims to investigate the behavior of the citizenry residing in Provincial Capital of Pakistan's largest populated province of Punjab. Methodology: Based on quantitative approach, a questionnaire with closed ended questions was distributed between two divisions of society – educated and uneducated – to measure their behavior towards the pandemic. The researchers have made an attempt to measure the cognitive dissonance of the society towards COVID with this hypothetical assumption that uneducated people would bother least as compared to the educated class. Findings: The research concluded the educated class had adopted more precautionary measures as compared to the uneducated class. However, there was a slight negation in awareness level of the educated and uneducated class regarding the pandemic. More precisely, the findings also surfaced cognitive dissonance theory in relation to the education, implying that regardless of the COVID-19 awareness and the spread, uneducated people are more likely in the state of cognitive dissonance that the educated people. Implications: Pakistani government as well as masses need to follow the response strategies of the government and awareness methods adopted by the people of China.
