Environment, organizational culture, development/promotion policies, facilities, compensation and political issues are some of the causes of reduction in the organizational commitment and increase in the level of emotional exhaustion and development of turnover intention among faculty of universities. The occupational psychology of faculty is influenced by diverse elements and specifically, there are various factors that play crucial role in overall organizational commitment emotional exhaustion and turnover intention. The faculty plays a vital role in ensuring the students and society for the quality education. For this study, the faculty members of various departments of selected universities in Riaz,KSA were the target population. The population for this study comprised faculty members of higher education institutions employing approximately 100 or more than 100 faculty members. The results shows that all the study variables are significantly related with each other. The mediation results show that organizational commitment partially mediate between the emotional exhaustion and turnover intentions among the faculty of higher education institutions in Saudi Arabia.

This paper deals with new realisations of research, scientific development, managerial and economic optimisations – a prefabricated building systems. In the literature, all scientific fields are worked out based on efficiencies, costs, benefits, choice of execution design, technical demands, aesthetical point of view, as well as the total economics. In the present example of a school building for communities in developing countries, the following criteria have been regarded: the optimal superstructure of prefabricated concrete building systems; the particularity of developing countries (eg the climate, the political and economic conditions); the time for construction and necessary innovative developments for an economically optimised superstructure. In addition, alternative construction methods and costs for a simple but variable system which can be adapted to changing functions are suggested. Apžvelgta literatūra, kurioje nagrinėjami efektyvumo, sąnaudų, pelno, statybos projektavimo, techninių reikalavimų, estetiniai, ekonominiai klausimai. Pateikiamas pavyzdys – mokyklos pastatas, skirtas besivystančių šalių bendruomenėms. Šiuo pavyzdžiu vertinami tokie rodikliai: gelžbetoninio surenkamojo pastato antžeminės dalies optimalumas, besivystančių šalių specifika (pvz., klimatas, politinės ir ekonominės sąlygos), statybos laikas ir reikalingi patobulinimai ekonomiškai optimaliai antžeminei daliai pastatyti. The drug problem is one of the most complex problems in the world, and hardly any society is devoid of it, whether in developed or developing countries. It threatens students' social, economic, and educational life at all levels. Saudi Arabia like the other countries faces drug spread among the youth. This study aims to assess the role of peer group effect on drug abuse and academic performance among university students in the Hawtat Bani Tamim. The study adopts the questionnaire as a tool for collecting data. The sample size of the study was 121 participants from university students. The study adopted descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. The results of the study found that the prevalence of drug abuse among university students was 8.3. There is a significant relationship between drug abuse and several factors under investigation. Notably, there were notable connections identified between drug abuse and age, the availability of drugs, and parental influence status. Also, the result showed that drug abuse delays graduation and absence from university. Peer group pressure influences drug abuse among students and plays a crucial role in drug abuse among university students. The study recommends providing programs that encourage students to quit drug abuse.

Consanguineous marriage is traditionally common throughout the Eastern Mediterranean region, especially in the mainly Muslim countries. To date, there is little information on consanguinity in Yemen. The aim of this study was to ascertain the rate of consanguineous marriage and average coefficient of inbreeding in Sana'a City, Yemen. A population survey was conducted with the intention of covering married couples resident in Sana'a City by means of a multi-stage random sampling technique. A total of 1050 wives and husbands were interviewed on consanguinity in their households. The total incidence of consanguinity was 44·7% (95% CI 41·7–47·7%) with first-cousin marriages constituting 71·6% of the total consanguineous marriages and 32% of all marriages. Paternal parallel first cousins (Type I) accounted for 49% of first-cousin marriages. The average coefficient of inbreeding (F) was 0·02442. The incidence of consanguinity is relatively high in Yemen with predominantly first-cousin marriage. This might be related to the deeply rooted social and cultural beliefs in the country.
