The article describes some results of the research project «The mass consciousness in the zone of military conflict in the Donbass» and an attempt was made to identify patterns of using information sources for the population of the free part of the Luhanska oblast. The survey is based on data from a panel survey conducted in January-December 2017. It was found that the main sources of new information are TV, Internet and the closest social environment (friends, acquaintances, relatives, colleagues). The last two groups have a network character and often disseminate unofficial information. It was also found that the main sources of important information are Internet, TV and the closest social environment. There are statistically significant differences in the use of different sources of information depending on gender, type of settlement, age and education level. Also, a factor analysis of the use of new information sources was made, in the course of which four factors are distinguished: 1 – Internet, information received during stay in educational institutions, information from friends and acquaintances, relatives; 2 – traditional media (newspapers, radio, television); 3 – from colleagues and managers; 4 – from advertisement, from random people, from magazines. Also, factor analysis of the sources of important information was conducted. It was established what the new information of non-private nature was perceived by respondents during the day: in the first place – «political life in Ukraine», in the second place – «prices and tariffs», in the third place – «the war on the Donbass». This is the evidence that the war becomes part of everyday life and there is reduction of people's attention to it. The differences were found in the receipt of such information depending on gender and age. Also, estimates of the emotional impact of daily new information are given. Basic practices of using the Internet and watching TV are defined. The rating of TV channels in the north of Luhanska Oblast is given in the article – Ukrainian nationwide channels prevail. It was found that both Ukrainian and Russian media's level of distrust far exceeds the level of trust, but the level of trust to Ukrainian media is still higher. In the use of information sources there is a steady increase of the role of network sources of information (electronic social networks, networks of communication with relatives, acquaintances, friends, colleagues).

Установлено, что основными источниками новой информации являются ТБ, Интернет и ближайшее социальное окружение (друзья, знакомые, родственники, коллеги). Подобная же ситуация наблюдается относительно источников важной информации. Последние две группы имеют сетевой характер и часто распространяют информацию неофициального характера. Установлено статистически значимую разницу в использовании разных источников информации в зависимости от пола, типа населенного пункта проживания, возраста и уровня образования. Также был осуществлен факторный анализ использования источников новой информации, в ходе которого выделено четыре фактора: 1 – Интернет, информация, полученная во время пребывания в учебных учреждениях, информация от друзей и знакомых, родственников; 2 – традиционные СМИ (газеты, радио, телевиденье); 3 – от коллег по работе и руководителей; 4 – из объявлений, от случайных людей, из журналов. Также проведен анализ источников важной информации. Установлено, чего касалась новая информация неприватного характера, воспринятая респондентами на протяжении дня: на первом месте – «политическая жизнь в Украине», на втором – «цены и тарифы», на третьем – «война на Донбассе». Последнее свидетельствует о превращении войны в обыденность и снижении внимания к ней. Обнаружена разница в получении такой информации в зависимости от пола и возраста. Определены основные виды практик во время использования Интернета и просмотра телевидения. Приведен рейтинг каналов, которые смотрят на севере Луганской области – преобладают общеукраинские каналы. Установлено, что и к украинским, и к российским СМИ уровень недоверия значительно превышает уровень доверия, но уровень доверия к отечественным СМИ все-таки выше. В использовании источников информации наблюдается стойкое возрастание роли сетевых источников информации (электронные социальные сети, сети общения с родными, знакомыми, друзьями, коллегами). ; У статті відображено частину результатів дослідницького проекту «Масова свідомість в зоні воєнного конфлікту на Донбасі» та здійснено спробу виділити моделі використання джерел інформації населенням вільної частини Луганської області. Встановлено, що основними джерелами нової інформації є ТБ, Інтернет та найближче соціальне оточення (друзі, знайомі, родичі, колеги). Подібна ж ситуація спостерігається щодо джерел важливої інформації. Останні дві групи мають мережевий характер і часто розповсюджують інформацію неофіційного характеру. Встановлено статистично значиму різницю у використанні різних джерел інформації в залежності від статі, типу населеного пункту проживання, віку та рівня освіти. Також було здійснено факторний аналіз використання джерел нової інформації, у ході якого виділено чотири фактори: 1 – Інтернет, інформація отримана під час перебування у навчальних закладах, інформація від друзів та знайомих, родичів; 2 – традиційні ЗМІ (газети, радіо, телебачення); 3 – від колег по роботі та керівників; 4 – з оголошень, від випадкових людей, з журналів. Також проведено факторний аналіз джерел важливої інформації. Встановлено, чого стосувалася нова інформація неприватного характеру, сприйнята респондентами протягом дня: на першому місці – «політичне життя в Україні», на другому – «ціни та тарифи», на третьому – «війна на Донбасі». Останнє свідчить про узвичаєння війни та зниження уваги до неї. Виявлено різницю в отриманні визначеної інформації в залежності від статі та віку. Встановлено основні види практик під час використання Інтернету та перегляду телебачення. Наведено рейтинг телеканалів, які дивляться на півночі Луганської області – переважають загальноукраїнські канали. Виявлено, що і до українських, і до російських ЗМІ рівень недовіри значно переважає рівень довіри, але рівень довіри до вітчизняних ЗМІ все-таки вищий. У використанні джерел інформації спостерігається стійке зростання ролі мережевих джерел інформації (електронні соціальні мережі, мережі спілкування з рідними, знайомими, друзями, колегами).
