This paper aims to present, from the perspective of Edmund Husserl, the concepts of consciousness, subjectivity and time. For the development of such purpose, the following Huserlian original texts have been mainly utilized: Logical Investigations, On the Phenomenology of the Consciousness of Internal Time and Cartesian Meditations. This text initially presents the concept of consciousness as a real phenomenological unity of the ego's experiences, as self-consciousness and as intentional experiences will be exposed. Subjectivity is approached based on the concepts of empirical self and pure self. Time, on the other hand, is explored from a phenomenological standpoint. Finally, the last item shows the intrinsic relationship established between the concepts of time and subjectivity, thus demonstrating the concept of the absolute flow of experiencing, which is timeless, and which is the ultimate and true absolute. Paradoxically, it demonstrates that it is in the actual flow that temporality is originated, and it is in the temporality, through experiences, that subjective life is put into effect and is consolidated; i.e., it clearly demonstrates that time is the catalyst for the development of subjectivity through temporal experiences and that it is in the essential autogenic relationship that conditions are created for the development of life in unity, whose process is characterized by openness to time, a flow in the live perpetuity of the now.

; Multi-utility companies, those whose provide different kinds of services to other companies, are on the core of both social and political debate. They are frequently shown as source of precariousness owed to usually skip from the collective bargaining agreements of the companies they serve. Despite salary and working time are the most frequent working conditions affected, the massive use of fixed-term contracts is usually mentioned by the legal literature. This paper analyses if there is empirical base to support this kind of description and how collective bargaining of this companies is dealing with the problem of temporality. ; Without disregarding the diversity of demands and actors implied in December 19° and 20° events, this article proposes to inquiry one of the dimensions and temporalities included in the 2001´crisis, trying to rebuild when and with which contents was built a destitution sense. The paper has three complementary purposes: by one hand, to understand and conceive what was understood as a new modality of political action: the negative voting, situation which was amplified in October 14° legislative elections but was anticipated in Córdoba in two opportunities during that year; in second place, I´ll try to rebuild social and political conditions of those actions, and furthermore to reflect about the possible incidence of them and of the election results in the construction of a destitution public sense. ; Fil: Gordillo, Monica Beatriz.
The objectives outlined in this research point to the desire to understand the reasons why the use of different modes of contracting temporary workers has been permited in the area of public employment. The use of differing modes of contracting temporary labour has contributed to an increase in the rate of temporary employment in Spain. In order to do this, we will analyse trends in public administration towards labourisation of labour relations, not only for the use of temporary contracts, but also for the approach being taken in producing civil service legislation on Labour Law. With these objectives, we will consider the problems that are arising in as far as attempting to create a special scheme for public sector employees and the difficulties which this approach generates. We will also consider the evolution of differing types of temporal work in the field of public administration: employment civil servants, and personel hired in the labour scheme, alongside contractual irregularities within the temporary labour contracts within the Civil Service. As for methodology used, we are looking at our own study of judicial sciences, without allowing this to stop us from taking a multi-disciplinary focus, covering the political, economic, historical and sociological arenas, with the intention of contextualising better the evolution of temporary work contracts and the laborization of administration. In order to attain the objectives highlighted, it has been necessary to examine the different labour reforms which have affected the contracting of temporary labour. These have been the guiding forces behind this work. From therein we will establish the influence of Labour Law upon the constitution of current public employment. A key supporting factor has been the analysis and study of the judicial doctrine and the use of statistical sources, active population survey and the official recorded statistics bulletin of personel in the public administration service. The main conclusión of this research is that reforms put in place have fundamentally shaken the foundations, which were believed to have been well rooted in the rules, as were the collective negotitations and inalienable right to secured tenure. On this last issue, one can perceive a serious trend - the latest rules allow the possibility of dismissal of permanent staff, applying this same characteristic to career civil servants. This possibility for dismissal has been produced, in the first instance, by the grave economic crisis that has struck our economy and the bulk of workers that encompass the Public Sector, making it chaotic from the point of view of the Budget designers.
This dissertation offers an examination of the links between print media, temporality, and narrative form in transatlantic Hispanic cultures between 1750 and 1870. I situate the production of periodical literature in print as a new cultural instrument and representational medium within the transatlantic context of the emergence of the culture of periodicity located at the intersection between nation and empire. I argue that the transatlantic perspective is useful as a historically specific, yet usefully supra-national framework for studying periodical literature in this moment. From a methodological standpoint, I resist the tendency to conflate the origin of modern print culture to the geographical boundaries implied by the concept of the nation-state, promoting instead a transoceanic analysis of nation and empire as well as a transoceanic concept of periodicity. My first set of concerns consists of relocating the production and consumption of periodical literature within the framework of a governmental administration that modernizes an economic and cultural transatlantic space. Thus, I re-conceptualize modern colonial and post-independence circuits of communication and the distribution of textual objects in relation to concepts of transatlantic temporality and materiality. As a result of the increased dependence on fixed schedules, the development of postal routes, and the imposition of regularity in the distribution of goods and periodicals, a series of changes in the understanding of time and the notion of futurity began to take place. My contention is that the link between periodicity and temporality is the clear marker of modernity and in fact is its constitutive element in the context of a Hispanic Atlantic space. In my first chapter, I study Spanish and Spanish American calendars and almanacs that circulated profusely through Atlantic routes. As material vestiges of the ideological dialectic between commercial and scientific enterprises, I argue that this circulating periodical literature embodies the commodification of colonial culture, evincing the temporal and territorial paradox of empire. Focusing on their discursive attempts at rationalized control, I analyze the production of almanacs as a technology of governmentality that designed a temporal economy that restricted contingency to the past and placed futurity in the hands of political organisms. By exploring the centrality of notions of periodicity, temporal asymmetry, and deferral in the emerging concept of a transatlantic temporality, I show how the changes in the notions of time and futurity that they entail are key to understanding Latin American modernity. Chapter II offers an exploration of the link between serialized literature and new technologies of time measurement, showing how both thematize the anxieties about time brought about by processes of modernization. The serialized novel was originally introduced in Latin America through the circulation of European newspapers during the mid-1830s, when the newly established national states were repositioning themselves slowly in a changing world. Serials encountered some initial resistance because of the way in which they articulated new modes of production and consumption of literature; but in the end they were welcomed as a key element of capitalist modernization. My focus is on the particularities of the serialized novel and the way in which it functions as a technology of modern life in Latin America. I argue, in Latin America the serial does not work as filling a void for the news, as it does in its early stages in Europe, but it is used as a pedagogy of modern periodicity: it is the result of the demands of the new money economy; it determines readers' subjectivities linked to the rhythms of what may be called the time of capital; it is incorporated as a technology of modernity embedded in transnational networks of cultural and economic exchanges; and creates expectations that encourage a desire to read that not only parallel processes of economic stimulus but also reproduce the new times that people were just learning to inhabit. In Chapter III, from a material culture perspective and in connection with other literary productions of its time, I offer an analysis of a study case for serialized literature in the folletín La familia de Sconner, by Argentine writer Miguel Cané, which was serialized in the newspaper La Tribuna, in 1858. Written during the disintegration of cattle culture, the novel's representations appear in sync with the goal of assimilating the gaucho into the ways of modern urban liberals, while underlining the anxieties that surround the validation of domestic production in relation to a wider (literary) market of transnational exchanges. By contrasting two models for organizing time, and consequently two economies of periodicity, the novel assumes political economy, commerce and financial speculation as the basis for a new conception of society. I elucidate how the serial's materiality forges the notion of modern periodicity and its particular forms of temporal apprehension: temporal compression, resistance to heterotemporality and racional futurity. My contention is that this folletín provides us with a material outline of the organization of the time of capital, revealing at the same time the disruptive emergence of the non-simultaneous in the temporal dynamics of Latin American modernity.
; This book is the result of a number of personal, academic and scientific confluences between scholars from different fields who, following on from previous fruitful synergies, have now been brought together to reflect jointly on a decisive factor in their respective fields of study: temporality. The so-called conceptual history harbours in its matrix a theory of historical times, in which the relationship of attraction and repulsion between history and memory is already proverbial. The collective endeavour in this volume, which focuses on inter/disciplinary temporalities, is based on an affinity of transversal interests and is encouraged by a sustained intention to build bridges between different areas of knowledge and to break their traditional self-referential inertia. The temporal dimension of justice, in its different declinations, has often been pretermitted or implicitly presupposed, without emerging as a theme in an explicit way, and yet it is susceptible to meditation from a plurality of perspectives: ethical, legal, sociological, political, historical, philosophical.
