; The present thesis deals with two different objects of investigation. On the one hand the experiences of Italys war in North Africa are treated and on the other hand the cultural differences between Italians and Africans are discussed. The present work is based on the four postcolonial works Il deserto della Libia by Mario Tobino, Tempo di uccidere by Ennio Flaiano, Regina di fiori e di perle by Gabriella Ghermandi and Asmara addio by Erminia dellOro. As the four texts can be attributed to postcolonialism, the term of postcolonialism will be explained. Moreover, the present thesis will give an overview of the most important critics of it and describes the Italian postcolonialism. At least the history of the countries of Libya, Ethiopia and Eritrea will be discussed. Since the two male authors served against North Africa during the Second World War, their own experience influenced their works permitting the reader to get an insight into the experience of war. The two female authors belong to the second generation, because the events in the war were conveyed to them only on a narrative way. The historical events play a greater role in their texts than in the case of the two male authors. Nevertheless, the two females make an important contribution to the processing of the period of history in which the four texts are located. Other topics treated in the present thesis are crimes, racism, the military equipment, as well as a description of the African resistance fighters and indigenous population. Through their representations Mario Tobino, Ennio Flaiano, Gabriella Ghermandi and Erminia dellOro make a great contribution to the interpretation of Italian postcolonialism and the understanding of the common history of Italy and Africa. ; vorgelegt von Cornelia Flechl, Bakk. phil ; Abweichender Titel laut Übersetzung des Verfassers/der Verfasserin ; Zusammenfassungen in Deutsch und Englisch ; Karl-Franzens-Universität Graz, Masterarbeit, 2017 ; (VLID)2260767

This text explores the central arguments of three theoretical perspectives that have analyzed the Englightenrnent project from a critical angle, wiih the goal of identifying their respective contributions to visualizing marginality in social theory. A series of elements are discussed, including the postmodern critique of concepts such as reason and subject; postcolonialism's attempt to ground historical interpretation in silenced, hybrid spaces; and feminist insistence upon the erasure of homogenizing, binary categories.

In: Moderna språk, Band 115, Heft 3, S. 122-141
ISSN: 2000-3560
The proliferation of critical and creative post-porn movements, which vindicate the representation of dissident sexualities under a new feminist, queer and transgender perspective, provide tools of analysis to rethink past literary and audiovisual pornographic productions, as well as to reformulate current ones. In this line of intermediate research, between cinema and literature, an approach to the work of Chilean writer Roberto Bolaño is proposed that will allow us to discern whether he can be considered a post-porn author related to the Golden Age of pornographic cinema in the 1970s and 1980s. Two of his stories and a novel will be studied: "Joanna Silvestri", from which a gender reading will be made that problematizes the role of women within an eminently heteronormative industry, obsessed with representing male ejaculation; "Prefiguración de Lalo Cura", analyzed under a postcolonial perspective of appropriation of subaltern bodies conceived as geographical territories, and Una novelita lumpen, in the field of porn pedagogy. The resulting findings make it possible to establish that Roberto Bolaño can indeed be considered a post-porn author by translating the narrative proposals of the Golden Age porn films into his own literary project, with a feminist and post-colonial critical intention.
