Investment Opportunities in Uzbekistan
This work reports studies of a growing Uzbekistan economy and vibrant investment opportunities associated with the business climate on the ground. An analysis of Foreign Direct Investments (FDI) in selected areas of the economy have been discussed. Uzbekistan is ranked 69 among 190 economies in the ease of doing business, according to the latest World Bank annual ratings. The economy, 4th largest among the CIS countries and 85th in the world in 2017 (measured by GDP in real terms - US$47, 88 billion), is dominated mainly by the state enterprises. The Gross domestic product (GDP) ranged around US$48.72 billion (2017) with the real growth rate at 5-7% annually. GDP per capita was US$1,504.23 at current prices during the same time (and US$6930 based on PPP) The study discloses significant changes in legislation, by-laws, and Decrees of Uzbekistan, aimed at creation of the most favorable conditions for foreign investors. Vast changes in economic, political and social life attributes, keeps paving way for excellent opportunities and favorable conditions to develop business via foreign direct investment.

Problems of Investment Insurance in the Legislation of Uzbekistan
Investment insurance is a young direction in the domestic insurance market, the development of which is very important in the strategic perspective. The need to develop this area is due to its impact on the investment climate of the country and the intensification of investment activities. Important in the insurance of capital-intensive investments is the study of the regional aspect and its features. This is explained by the fact that at present a significant part of the interests of public and private investors is concentrated in the sphere of the regional economy. The article discusses the conditions for the formation and problems of insurance protection of investments within the regional insurance market of Uzbekistan.

The author provides statistical data on investment growth in the agricultural sector of Uzbekistan. The author analyzes the relationship between investment in agriculture and gross agricultural product through economic modeling. Economic, social, and legislative conditions relevant to Uzbekistan's agricultural sector are highlighted in the article. The author proposes ideas to increase investment in the agricultural sector of Uzbekistan.

In October 1989, Uzbekistan's Supreme Soviet adopted the law "On the State Language of the Uzbek SSR." At that time, Uzbekistan was still one of the 15 constituent republics of the USSR. The law was an important symbol of Uzbekistan's changing relation to Russia and the assertion of the preeminence of Uzbek culture in Uzbekistan.

The EU Law studies in Uzbekistan
. Over recent years the several aspects of European integration began to arouse a deep academic interest, and this interest is quite versatile. Political, economic, legal, and many other aspects of European integration are being studied under the "European studies" label in the world. It should be noted that the interest is well justified. Numerous studies in the field of European integration as well as developed curriculum and disciplines, research papers that become more widespread in Uzbekistan and Central Asia, prove it. Hence the integration processes within the European Union (EU) are the focus of attention, the study of different aspects of the European integration processes and political, economic, and cultural cooperation of the Republic of Uzbekistan with the EU, to investigate the EU energy policy, how to export to the common European market, cooperation in the field of education, in ecological security, legal approximation and other subjects may be defined as priorities of research activities in Uzbekistan. The EU studies is not a new direction of research and teaching activities in Uzbekistan at all. The first research attempts date back to the middle of the 90s of the last century. Nowadays the Uzbek universities such as the University of World Economy and Diplomacy, Westminster International University in Tashkent, and Tashkent State University of Law offer dozens of EU-related courses. This article is dedicated to the current state of EU law studies in Uzbekistan. The author tries to explain the importance of EU law education and outlines the challenges that EU law education faces in Uzbekistan. Practical recommendations are given in the conclusion on the further development of EU law education in the country.

Abstract. In this article the author analyses stages of development of the legislation on investment funds in Uzbekistan. Nowadays, the economy of Uzbekistan is advancing rapidly. Economic development causes great demand for capital. The role of investment funds in the market of financial services as a means of private investing is indispensable. At present, there are a few investment funds operating in Uzbekistan, but their activities cannot be called satisfactory. The legislation in this sphere was established 25 years ago and has undergone some changes over the time. In this article, the author pays attention to the stages of development of legislation related to investment funds, and analyses the legislation in the sphere.
