This entry focuses on the Ganda society before King Mutesa's reign; during his reign, King Mutesa admitted Arab traders, received missionaries, and European contact was made. Prior to European contact and Christian/Muslim influence, the traditional Ganda (who refer to themselves as "Baganda") religion was based upon a hierarchy of gods, ghosts, fetiches, and amulets. Religious beliefs were interwoven with political structure, so the Ganda religion is best described as coterminous with the society. Traditionally, the Buganda was one of the Lacustrine kingdoms in the Lake Victoria region of Africa, and was known for its dominant military power. Banyak sudah kaum perempuan yang sudah mampu meningkatkan kualitas hidup serta mendapatkan kesamaan hak seperti halnya laki-laki seperti hak untuk mendapatkan pendidikan, politik serta kesempatan kerja.Seiring dengan perkembangan jaman, peran perempuan dalam keluarga dewasa ini tidak sedikit perempuan Bali yang belum kawin (deha) mempunyai pekerjaan di luar rumah dengan penghasilan yang baik. Tujuan dan manfaat penelitian ini terdapat masyarakat dapat mengkaji dan memahmi kedudukan dan peran ganda yang dilakoni oleh perempuan Bali, baik dalam sektor domestik maupun di sektor publik. Data dikumpulkan dengan Metode observasi dan metode dokumen. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat terungkap beberapa hal dalam Peran Ganda dan Status Sosial Perempuan Bali, peranan perempuan dalam perekonomian, peranan perempuan dalam norma sosial, dan kedudukan perempuan Bali. Peran ganda dan status sosial perempuan Bali Kedudukan perempuan sangat bervariasi menurut sistem kekeluargaan yang dianut dan menurut pengaruh faktor-faktor agama, sosial, ekonomi dan kebudayaan.

The need for dual citizenship regulation seems increasingly prominent and becomes an issue that continues to be striven by the Indonesian Diasporas in various countries around the globe. Dual citizenship has become the dream of the Indonesian Diasporas in various countries since many Indonesian citizen Diasporas with a single citizenship often encounter various obstacles and limitations. The Indonesian citizenship law is today based on the principle of single citizenship. This principle has been even adhered since the proclamation of August 17 1945, under the enactment of Law Number 3 of 1946 on Citizenship of the Republic of Indonesia, which was later replaced by Law Number 62 of 1958 on Citizenship of the Republic of Indonesia and amended by Act Number 12 of 2006 on Citizenship of the Republic of Indonesia and the Government Regulation Number 2 of 2007 on Procedures for acquisition, loss, deprivation, and reacquisition of Citizenship of the Republic of Indonesia. Nowadays, the demands for the implementation of unlimited dual citizenship are under the considerations for the Government and the House of Representatives of the Republic of Indonesia to amend Act Number 12 of 2006. It is not only for the demands of the Indonesia diaspora to the implementation of unlimited dual citizenship, but it is also for the reality of the development of globalization today. The implementation of dual citizenship for Indonesian diaspora is a necessity. In addition, it is based on the reality of globalization and the spirit of the constitution that protects all the entire homeland of Indonesia, including Indonesian citizens residing abroad.

Menyadari betapa besar peranan negara dalam berbagai kehidupan masyarakat dan kekuasaan negara, maka kebebasan negara dalam arti pelaksanaan peraturan perundangn-undangan pada hakekatnya dilakukan oleh manusia itu sendiri. Oleh karena itu, yang pertama harus dilakukan adalah manusia sebagai penentu kebijakan hukum, dalam hal ini adalah para hakim yang terdidik, baik, cakap, disiplin, jujur, mentaati hukum, dan tidak rangkap jabatan. Untuk mewujudkan hal tersebut masih perlu adanya upaya untuk mendorong pihak yang berwenang untuk mengawasi dan membina hakim agar lebih menunjukan political will dengan meningkatkan kualitas pengawasan dan pembinaanya sehingga citra hakim pada khususnya dan peradilan pada umumnya semakin terangkat dan kepercayaan masyarakat terhadap hukum semakin baik. Untuk lebih mempertegas prinsip kekuasaan kehakiman yang memiliki asas kebebasan, kiranya perlu difikirkan kembali tentang disain dari struktur yudikatif di Indonesia, seyogyanya wewenang dan cakupan kekuasaan penyelenggara kekuasaan kehakiman diperluas dengan diserahkanya aspek-aspek administratif pada para penyelenggaranya. Dengan demikian para hakim tidak lagi ditempatkan pembinaan administratifnya pada pemerintah, sehingga penyelenggaraaan kekuasaan kehakiman betul-betul terpisah secara keseluruhan dengan penyelenggara kekuasaan lain. Bila hal ini dilakukan diharapkan kebebasan hakim akan terwujudkan dan keadilan dapat ditegakan di bumi pertiwi.Realizing how big the role of the state in the various life of society and state power, then the freedom of the state in the sense of the implementation of legislation is essentially done by the man himself. Kebijakan WFH (Work From Home) dan SFH (School From Home) yang diberlakukan oleh pemerintah Indonesia selama masa pandemi membuat beban ganda yang dijalankan oleh dosen perempuan semakin berat. Sebagai seorang ibu, dosen perempuan kini memiliki kewajiban baru untuk mengawasi dan membimbing anak-anaknya selama sekolah daring. Beban ganda yang makin berat di masa pandemi ini dapat berkurang jika akademisi perempuan memiliki pola komunikasi keluarga yang baik. Penelitian ini merupakan studi fenomenologi yang membahas pengalaman komunikasi keluarga pada akademisi perempuan dalam menghadapi beban ganda selama pandemi Covid-19. Komunikasi keluarga dianalisis berdasarkan enam dimensi, yaitu listening skill, speaking skill, self-disclosure, clarity, continuity tracking, dan respect or regard. Wawancara mendalam dilakukan kepada tiga akademisi perempuan untuk mendapatkan pengalaman mereka menjalani beban ganda di masa pandemi dan bagaimana komunikasi keluarga turut berperan di tengah situasi tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tiga informan akademisi perempuan dalam penelitian ini memiliki pemaknaan yang berbeda-beda mengenai beban ganda yang mereka jalani. Berdasarkan enam dimensi komunikasi keluarga, tiga informan dalam penelitian memiliki komunikasi keluarga yang baik sehingga keluarga mampu memberikan kekuatan tersendiri dan mendukung akademisi perempuan dalam menjalankan beban gandanya di masa pandemi Covid-19.The implementation of theWork From Home and School From Home policies imposed by the Indonesian government during the pandemic have made the double burden of female academic lecturers even havier. The objectives of this research are to find out the influence of dual role conflict and stress, both simultaneously and partially, to organizational commitment of female employees Echelon IV at Tasikmalaya's government. The method used in this research was survey method. 117 respondens from 21 institutions located at Tasikmalaya were chosen. The way of data collecting used questionnaire. Data was then analyzed using Path Analysis. The results of this research showed that there was a significant influence of dual role conflict to stress. There was a significant influence of dual role conflict, partially, to female employees's organizational commitment. Stress has a significant influence, partially, to female employees's organizational commitment. The dual role conflict and stress, simultaneously, have significant influences to female employees's organizational commitment.
