Web Based Electronic Voting System Using Finger Print Authentication and GSM Module
Voting is the heart of a democratic country and it should be fair and square by all means .Every country in the world is spending a handsome amount on the electoral process to refine it to the next level. Instead of all the refinement on the electoral process there is always issues rises about the rigging in the elections. To counter this and to ameliorate the electoral process to next level we are proposing a system which includes a finger print scanner and GSM module. We have defined a methodology to counter all the hidden holes in the electoral process. SAFE SOLE DISTRESS SHOCK SYSTEM FOR FEMALE SECURITY
Nowadays women are less secure and their security is the major issue. They have to undergo various difficult conditions and have to prove themselves every time in all critical conditions. So for their security and safety, government has provided security through rules and regulations to the society. Although there are many existing systems for security purpose, requirement of advanced system is arising. In order to overcome such problems smart security system for women is implemented. This paper describes safe and secured electronic system for women which comprises of an arduino controller and sensors such as temperature sensor, sweat sensor pulse rate sensor, GSM and GPS. When the women is in threat, the device senses the body parameters like heart beat rate , change in temperature and sweat rate. When the sensor crosses the threshold limit, the device gets activated and traces the location of the victim using GPS and also the buzzer will alert the surroundings. By using GSM module, the victim's location is send to the registered contact numbers. The system also consists of a shock generation mechanism to produce non lethal electric shock in emergency situations to defend the attacker.

Due to high population the needs of human being are increasing day by day. Simultaneously the food material requirements are also increasing. In order to meet the food demands, it is essential to improve the efficiency of crop production in the scenarios of manpower and water scarcity. The need of hour is to make an efficient utilization of available manpower, water and fertilizers which can lead to cost optimization of the annual crop-production. Fortunately the different technologies and techniques available today can help to achieve the goal of cost optimization and quality control. This preliminary work focuses on the cost effective automatic smart irrigation system which allows saving water and human efforts with desired quantity and quality of crop-production. The proposed system also incorporates a simple yet lightweight smart phone application which can permit the farmer to execute the irrigation and fertilization schedules. The experimental setup in the farm admeasuring 1 acre of sugarcane crop showed that the water requirement reduced by 56%, manpower expenses for irrigation reduced by 90% while electricity consumption is also reduced by 75 % to that of traditional methods. The proposed system thus leads to a win-win situation for farmers as well as government struggling for water and power supply in our country.

Comparative Analysis of Global System for Mobile Communication (GSM) Network in Ikot Ekpene Local Government of Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria Using GSM Network Analyzer
As the erratic nature of the services of cellular networks become increasingly worrisome, the signal strengths and qualities of four available cellular networks operating in Ikot Ekpene Local Government Area, Akwa Ibom State Nigeria are compared to ascertain the network with a better signal strength. Measurement of signal strength (SS) and quality of signal (QoS) at particular time intervals were made for the four networks. The global system for mobile communication (GSM) analyzer is slotted with the subscriber identification module (SIM) card of each service provider of the telecommunication outfit. Results show that the network with the highest values of signal strength has the best quality of service, the average mean signal strengths for the four networks obtained were -86.25dBm, -86.33dBm,-86.71dBm and -86.71dBm and -86.42dBm for MTN Nigeria, Airtel, Globacom and 9 Mobile respectively. Also, the average mean quality of signal for four networks obtained were 43.38%, 43.38%, 43.38%, and 43.25%, for MTN Nigeria, Airtel, Globacom and 9 Mobile Respectively. The study shows that the type of network technology used does not influence the signal strength and quality. Network congestion is not influenced by signal strength but only influenced by number of users and bandwidth.

In the present scenario, with the increase in population, the garbage dumped by people is also increasing tremendously. It is ifficult to manage such large amount of garbage daily. It may cause unhygienic environment around us and this would create the health issues. The Government of India has taken various initiative steps to create awareness among the masses for keeping the area surrounding them neat and clean. To achieve the target of cleanliness, the role of electronic technologies is very important. With the help of electronic technologies we can help in Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan. In this paper the realistic implementation of the smart garbage management system are proposed. In the proposed system, the garbage in the dustbin is sensed by the ultrasonic sensor. It will detect the level of garbage and aurdino communicate with GSM which sends message to authorized phone number. We have used GSM module, Ultrasonic sensor and Aurdino for implementation. Aurdino software is used for coding purpose.

Dams are one of the major water sources for irrigation, electricity generation etc.in India. Dams play a vital role since the time of colonialism. Lack of proper dam management system have been causing several losses including the recent flood that struck in Kerala. Inspired by the existing rural and socio-economic problems, an innovative and feasible automatic control system can be developed for dam management purposes. This paper also proposes a novel idea of collecting and sharing real-time information about water levels to the people living nearby its bank. Highly precise water level monitoring system and timely report to the locality is also developed. When the water level crosses the threshold condition, alert messages will be sent to the people and the shutters will open automatically, retaining water to its normal level. Timely warnings to every person living in the locality and timely opening of shutters can thereby reduce the risks of loss of life and prevent disasters. Hence, automation of dam system using Arduino, ultrasonic sensor, GSM module and motor, creates a new eye for both the Government as well as the people in the locality for creating mitigation plans.
