Despite the best efforts of the exponents of social movement theory, the dynamics of empowerment of women in India has not been (re)visited to lend specificity to the Indian gender mainstreaming strategies. So the Indian post-feminist efforts to engender 'a gender-just society' by empowering women, critical symbols of continued sub-alternship, need to be put under post feminist scanners. Against this backdrop, it is mooted that the principal aim of this paper is to (re)define empowerment of women in India as an open-ended process aiming at the felicitating (i) abolition of gender-based discrimination in all institutions and structures of the India society and (ii) participation of women in policy and decision-making processes at private and public levels of assorted activities, qualified by all dyadic relations among mind, matter, politics of knowledge, gender politics, and poetics of lack and desire. The word women empowerment carries different meanings for different people and it is important to view its meanings in relation to social, cultural, political, ideological and geographical scenario of an area. Hence this paper defines women empowerment as women not only present in decision making position but also participating in the society in equal status with their male counterparts. As far as the political empowerment and related information is concerned, the problem faced in this regard are, the unavailability of complete and valid data and the hesitation of concerned authorities to provide relevant information as women related issues have never been the priority of the provincial government. In order to fill this gap, this study was conducted to solicit the perceptions of experts regarding the implementation of policies focusing on political empowerment of women in Balochistan. The perceptions of the experts from relevant field helped in finding out the gaps present in the formulation and implementation of these policies. The data for this purpose was based on closed ended questionnaire, in which a 6 point scale was developed to gauge the perception of the experts and their responses were evaluated with the help of Binomial test and Two way analysis of variance. The major conclusion was that the implementation of the policies regarding political empowerment of women in Balochistan is perceived to be highly unacceptable.

This right can be enjoyed by the human being without any distinction on the areas of their sex, caste, colour, etc. It is an important key of empowerment of human being. It enables the human being to gain knowledge about their potentialities and abilities. Now-a-days, the concept of women empowerment raise in a maximum level. It gains significance in both national and international level. The discussions of both the level signified the role and importance of education to empower the women. In the present paper an attempt has been made to analyze the influence of technical education on women working in government and private organizations within limited geographical area. The study focused on study the self and social empowerment of women working in the respective organizations.

This paper is an attempt to analyze the unresolved problems about the women in the society. After 63 years of the independence the status of women is not equal to the men in all walk of life. So many crimes against the women - rape, kidnapping and abduction, harassment for dowry, dowry deaths or attempt at physical or mental torture, sexual abuse etc. - are on the rise.
