Information technologies have already radically transformed the communications and information technology sectors, trade, media, and the education sector, especially education, which is on the top priority. Digital technologies will radically change the way data is sent and retrieved, will allow immediate and real-time feedback from students, will facilitate access to education through distance learning, will allow new service providers to enter traditional markets education. Thus, a diligent and well planned implementation of cyber security, as well as information security of information networks of educational institutions will provide a definite competitive advantage in the information environment.
In the context of a dynamic information environment prone to large-scale cyber-attacks, in which cybercriminals are using increasingly advanced methods to implement attack vectors that are undetectable and difficult to neutralize, this scientific study is designed to protect data and security of your institutions as well as to ensure the confidentiality of your students and teachers.
Whether we are talking about large or small educational institutions, this study provides a series of recommendations on the secure use of social networks with a minimum set of measures needed to prevent cyber-attacks as well as reduce the damage caused in case of attacks. At the same time, it will examine the best practices in the online environment, effectively analyze the privacy settings of mobile devices and present some top tips for the secure use of social networks.
The study aims to comply with the following minimum set of measures in order to prevent cyber-attacks in educational institutions, and reduce the damage caused in the event of attacks.

Technologie informacyjne radykalnie przekształciły sektory komunikacji, handlu, mediów i edukacji. Technologie cyfrowe zmienią sposób przesyłania i wyszukiwania danych, umożliwią natychmiastową informację zwrotną od uczniów w czasie rzeczywistym oraz ułatwiają dostęp do edukacji poprzez kształcenie na odległość. Zatem rzetelne i dobrze zaplanowane wdrożenie cyberbezpieczeństwa, a także bezpieczeństwa informacyjnego sieci informacyjnych placówek oświatowych zapewni zdecydowaną przewagę konkurencyjną w środowisku informacyjnym. Artykuł ma na celu przedstawienie środków zapobiegawczych przeciw cyberatakom w placówkach edukacyjnych i ograniczania szkód wyrządzanych w przypadku takich ataków.

For Latvia as a European Union member state, the issue of immigrant integration into Latvia's society has become currently actuated. Schools have to be ready to enroll pupils of other nationalities and assist them in earlier inclusion into Latvia's society, by promotion of their citizenship development towards the state where they abode, the EU states and the world society in general. The accomplished researches in Latvia reveal that in education environment, it is especially significant to strive for attitude transformation of Latvia's citizens to the inclusion of the immigrant children into Latvia's education environment. Inter-culture experience involvement into the education programmes provides an important factor for the development of citizenship experience in pupils, for their successful integration into another state's society. The aim of the article is: to analyze the situation in education (the accomplished researches) and student opinions on the citizenship development in immigrant children in Latvia's multi-cultural society. The research has implemented the analyses of scientific literature and documents, questionnaire and interviews. The research has come to the conclusion that in education it is significant to evaluate the bilingual, inter-culture and inclusive education for development of citizenship. Exceptional attention has to be paid to preparing the teachers and development of appropriate methodical aids, carrying out of multiple events that can ensure the immigrant opportunities to enrich the capital of Latvia's culture, economy and social life.

Orientation: Higher education institutions (HEIs) are facing many challenges such as intense competition and a decrease in government subsidies. Creating more satisfied undergraduate students with a high level of loyalty can increase retention of students. Research purpose: The main aim of the study was to measure students' level of loyalty, advocacy intentions and perceptions of customer experience during service encounters with administrative staff of the North-West University. Motivation for the study: Positive experiences by students on-campus can increase their satisfaction levels which will lead to an increased propensity for further studies, develop a sense of loyalty and increase advocacy intentions to promote the university to others. Research approach, design and method: This quantitative research followed a descriptive research design. Self-administered questionnaires were handed out to 1295 students on the 3 campuses of the university. Main findings: Students on the Potchefstroom campus show much higher loyalty and advocacy intentions than their counterparts on the Vaal and Mafikeng campuses. Overall the findings indicate that the students have very positive perceptions of the professional appearance of staff members, and also think that their personal information is handled in a secure manner. Male and female students did not differ in their levels of customer experience. European language-speaking students reported a higher level of customer experience compared to their African language-speaking counterparts. The customer experience levels of students in the Potchefstroom Faculty of Health Sciences are higher than students in the Vaal Faculty of Humanities. Practical/managerial implications: It could be beneficial for the management of tertiary institutions to gain insight into the sources or factors that constitute positive experiences for students, for example convenient opening hours and ease of contacting staff by telephone. The training of newly appointed and existing staff could also be enhanced when they are sensitised regarding students' perceptions of positive customer experiences. Augmented reality (AR) continues to gain popularity within the classroom setting, lauded for the potential it brings to further engage students and contextualize instruction. AR offers an interactive experience where digital objects, seen through various mobile devices (e.g., iPad, mobile phone), are overlaid on the real world. This literature review of 38 research studies conducted in K-12 settings examined the defining characteristics of AR, the purpose and application of the AR intervention, and the outcomes associated with the current use of AR. The results of the review reveal that studies use varying defining characteristics of AR which leads to varying levels of applications for all students in instructional settings. With no common definition leading to a wide array of classroom usage, the authors examine AR usage for students with and without disabilities. This article also provides recommendations to establish a strong research base on specific characteristics and the impact AR has on education.
