Theoretical thinking on audiovisual production and its status must think about the modes of the belief in transparency of contemporary image representation. First of all, the paper attempts to summarize the precedents of the reflection about critical capacities of cinema and film image. This is the case of Deleuze, Giroux, Rancière or Didi-Huberman from philosophical and aesthetic aspects, and the practice of authors such as Roberto Rossellini and Peter Watkins. Secondly, this text describes the theoretical bases and collective positions of Cinema Without Author (CsA): political activism and a citizen empowerment framework combines with pedagogical purposes. Cinema without Author proposes a new way to subvert the classic models of social productivity ; La reflexión sobre la producción audiovisual y sobre su estatuto debe preguntarse sobre las fórmulas que fundan la creencia en una transparencia de la representación en la imagen contemporánea, de modo que sirvan en el surgimiento de un nuevo tipo de espectador.El texto trata de resumir, en primer lugar, antecedentes que han precedido el pensamiento y la acción sobre las capacidades críticas del cine y la imagen fílmica. The volume "Dante, Freud and Dalí: what they might have in common? Psychoanalytic Reflections on Dante's Inferno", authored by PhD Prof. Univ. Marius Dumitrescu, and published in 2022 by Lumen Publishing House from Iasi, Romania took me into a world of questions about reality, about my own mind and my own morality. The author' challenge for the reader is an invitation into a very deep journey to explore his/hers own reality based on Freud's work and analyzing the influence of Dante in the developing of psychoanalyzes theory of interpreting the dreams. The books takes also the reader in a short ride through Dali's work, and his way of seeing the reality. The link between Dante, Freud and Dali is the hidden reality, which is also hidden between the challenging the pages of this book.

Dr. Sherman P. Vinograd fulfilled the roles of Chief of Medical Science and Technology and Director of Biomedical Research at the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) from the fall of 1961 until the spring of 1979. In this role he shaped, organized, and directed NASA's program of medical research as a funded program of studies, which was carried out in not only NASA Center laboratories, but also in university, industry, and other government laboratories and hospitals all over the country. It produced a large substrate of information through its bed rest studies, vestibular, bone, neuromuscular, hematology, and cardiovascular researches. It also produced valuable fall-out, such as an accurate bone density measurement technique which is now in common clinical use. ; His major activities during this career were conceptualizing, establishing, and chairing the Space Medicine Advisory Group (SPAMAG) charged with defining the earth-based and space-based research and life-support requirements for a manned orbiting research laboratory. This group designed a carefully planned study utilizing highly qualified, specialized members of the scientific community. They postulated a non-existent orbiting laboratory to be designed according to the needs of future human flight crews and requirements for human spaceflight information. This would result in the creation of Skylab. ; He was also responsible for establishing the In-flight Medical Experiments Program in preparation for the Apollo series of manned space flights. This program was a series of carefully designed flight crew studies derived from proposals by qualified scientists both from within and outside NASA to evaluate human responses to spaceflight. ; In addition, Dr. Vinograd developed a supportive Research and Development Program necessary to provide pertinent ground-based data and to advance state-of-the-art medical measurement technology, a major development of which was the Integrated Medical and Behavioral Laboratory Measurement System (IMBLMS). This consisted of medical experiments and accompanying equipment necessary to perform them that was used from the Gemini through the Skylab manned space flight programs. Carried aboard virtually any post-Apollo space vehicle by virtue of its rack and module design, these designs were used well into the future. He also fostered the continuing ground-based medical research program sponsored and/or conducted by NASA. ; The Dr. Sherman P. Vinograd Aerospace Exploration collection consists of artifacts, books, correspondence, financial materials, newspapers, photographs, plaques, printed materials, and reports relating to Dr. Vinograd's early life, his career as an M. D. prior to joining NASA, his years as a physician and researcher at NASA, and the other professional organizations and projects in which he was involved both during and after these periods. ; Box 9, Folder 22

The International Association for Sediment Water Science sponsors a symposium triennially, during which the latest developments in the study of interactions between sediments and their overlying waters are presented. These Proceedings are a collection of papers submitted following the 7th Symposium held in Baveno, Italy, during 22-25 September, 1996. The study of sediment/water interactions crosses disciplinary and ecosystem boundaries. The work presented in this volume demonstrates the importance of multidisciplinarity to the field with papers included in the general subject areas of sediment/water dynamics, sediment/contaminant interactions, the role of sediments in element cycles, the use of sediments as historical indicators, sediment/organism interactions, and studies of sedimentary environments in remote areas. Sustainability is becoming more and more important in social discourses: new technologies are needed in order to face the problems of climate change and to use limited resources in an effective and efficient way. According to Kilian Bizer, Professor for Economic Policy and Director of the Center for European, Governance and Economic Development Research (cege) at the Georg-August University of Göttingen, governmental incentives for the individual and situation-specific motivation of economic actors are not able to bring about an on-going dynamic innovation process that is based on the guiding principles of sustainable development. Instead, framework conditions are needed that allow for a process in which actors control the consistency between their actions and the normative goal on their own initiative. In the case of a detected discrepancy, creative and appropriate solutions should be developed without permanent accompanying government stimuli. Therefore, the question is how these conditions should be drafted and which incentives and obstacles for sustainable innovations exist. This amounts to creating an innovation-friendly legal framework that sets the appropriate incentives for actors to behave according to the established targets.
These questions were dealt with during the conference "Innovations for sustainability. The perception of chances and risk", that was held in the Protestant Academy Loccum from 20-22 January 2014. The conference concentrated on chemical regulations with a specific focus on nano-materials and the relationship between breeder privileges and biopatents. This conference report summarizes the different discussion threads and positions.
