This is the third edition of the I·CONnect-Clough Center Global Review of Constitutional Law. This 2018 Global Review assembles detailed but relatively brief reports on constitutional developments and cases in 65 jurisdictions during the past calendar year. The reports are authored by academic and/or judicial experts, and often the reports are co-authored by judges and scholars. The reports in this first-of-its-kind volume offer readers systematic knowledge that, previously, has been limited mainly to local networks rather than a broader readership. By making this information available to the larger field of public law in an easily digestible format, we aim to increase the base of knowledge upon which scholars and judges can draw. We expect to repeat the project every year with new annual reports, and we hope over time that coverage will grow to an even wider range of countries. We invite scholars and jurists from the presently non-covered jurisdictions to contact us about contributing a report in next year's Global Review.

They include emotion-driven exchanges of gifts or favours and tributes for services, interest-driven know-how (from informal welfare to informal employment and entrepreneurship), identity-driven practices of solidarity, and power-driven forms of co-optation and control. The paradox, or not, of the invisibility of these informal practices is their ubiquity. Expertly practised by insiders but often hidden from outsiders, informal practices are, as this book shows, deeply rooted all over the world, yet underestimated in policy. Entries from the five continents presented in this volume are samples of the truly global and ever-growing collection, made possible by a remarkable collaboration of over 200 scholars across disciplines and area studies. By mapping the grey zones, blurred boundaries, types of ambivalence and contexts of complexity, this book creates the first Global Map of Informality. The article is devoted to social policy of Ukraine in conditions of global economic crisis. The author investigates the essence, manifestations and consequences of crisis processes, analyzes their impact on welfare of population. The main shortcomings of government policy in this sphere are determined. An effective tools and optimal directions of anti-crisis actions, aimed at overcoming the negative social influence of the crisis, are proposed. Important priorities of further social policy in providing of adequate living standards and social stability are defined in the article. Автором досліджено природу, прояви та наслідки кризових процесів, докладно проаналізовано їх вплив на добробут населення держави. Визначено основні недоліки державної політики у даній сфері, проведено аналіз статистичних даних. Запропоновано дієвий інструментарій та оптимальні напрямки антикризової політики, спрямованої на подолання негативного соціального ефекту кризи, позитивні структурні зрушення і економічне відновлення держави. Визначено важливі пріоритети подальшої соціальної політики, спрямованої на забезпечення належного рівня життя та стабільності суспільства. This study investigates transnational relations and global challenges which the European Industrial Relations have been facing recently. The paper, methodologically, was structured with taking into account both socio- political and judicial arguments. The social theory, and ergo, the practice in Europe were analyzed according to Marxist point of view. Basically, industrial relations and employment relationship were examined from the perspectives of employees, employee representatives and nation-states. The influence of the Charter of Fundamental Rights which is legally binding with the Lisbon Treaty (TFEU) was examined. In addition, the effectiveness of the acquis communautaire within the EU was argued with respect to the European Social Model; such as, social dialogue, tripartite and bipartite information exchange and consultation, collective bargaining and legal provisions regarding employment conditions and social protection. This article examines how indigenous peoples use two unique spaces of a globalizing world–-cyberspace and the United Nations Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues–-to make their claims, foment alliances, and assert their right of self-determination. It describes how indigenous peoples' use of these two spaces positions them so they are no longer simply reacting to globalizing processes and events but are situated so that others will have to contend with their alternative visions of the world. Mobility is a keyword of late modernity that suggests an increasingly unrestrained and interconnected world of individual opportunities. However, as privileges enable some to live in a seemingly borderless world, others remain excluded and marginalized. Boundaries are created, modified and consolidated, particularly in times of hypermobility. Evidently, mobility is closely tied to immobility.This volume features ethnographic research that challenges the concept of mobility with regard to social inequalities and global hierarchies.

This article discusses the relevancy of cosmopolitan democracy concept in multicultural world. It argues that cosmopolitan democracy concept is not enough in achieving a just and equal political order the context of plural world-citizenship, it showed by the practice of economic, social and political structure which prevails. Hence, this article tried to search an alternative in attempt to make the idea of cosmopolitan democracy become more realistic and inclusive by adopting radical democracy concept. Firstly, it discuss the critics of Kant's cosmopolitan view using Spivak's conception of Planetarity. Secondly, it discuss about the plural democracy by Mouffe's in the context of planetarity. In the scientifi c and theoretical defi nition of the term national security, diff erent terms are used. In the introductory part of the paper, the author will analyze the terms of national security used in the scientifi c literature of certain states of the former SFRY. Furthermore, the author will analyze the national security of the Republic of Macedonia in contemporary global conditions. In the concluding remarks, the author will determine the goals of the national security policy of the Republic of Macedonia in accordance with the European Union's Global Strategy from 2016. The subject of research is the national security of the Republic of Macedonia in contemporary global conditions. The purpose of this study is to examine the importance of European security and national security in scientifi c literature. This research study integrates the results from theoretical and real-world scenarios in the frameworks of corporate governance, state governance, and public administration. Whether it be via the tight examination of the private sector or the public sector, the strategy adopted in this research involved constructing a 360-degree focus on real occurrences that generate the formal and informal processes that keep the globe going. In the first portion of the article, the global mechanism as viewed from the perspective of business and the worldwide mechanism as seen from the standpoint of the economy are both given their own section.

Abstract. The paper carries out a context specific debate on why the real sector of the economy is important to look into to establish a framework of effective development. While doing that the paper highlights that the economic policy in the real sector is to be complemented by intervening in the progress of the society by developing social, political and legal institutions. Condition of Indonesian character today is quite apprehensive, therefore, the government has take initiatives to prioritize the nation's character development, both formal education in schools and other social institutions like government institutions, politics, society, families, businesses, NGOs and mass media. The progress of transportation an communication has brought fundamental change in our society, such as from closed societies to open societies, space and social interaction becomes more opened and globalize. In other side, globalize of social interaction can increace the horizon of life and welfare society, while it can couse the entry of foreign ideology and culture that confict with cultural values and character of Indonesia. Therefore, in order to build the character of the nation and screening the entry of foreign culture needed synergistic cooperation between various social and educational institutions, both formal and non formal. Can be a world order shaped by equivalents in the framework of the supranational model of Europe with the same legitimacy and with the same effectiveness? In this study was argued that Civilizing World Order (CWO) by Transnational Norm-Building Networks (TNNs) should have the legitimacy and effectiveness of the European Union supranational order. In this context, the concept of decentration (supra: centralization and infra: decentralization) which includes the nexus of voice (democratic participation) and entitlement (legal-social rights and duties) was examined.
