BACKGROUND: Breastfeeding is recommanded for a duration of at least 6 months. France is one of the European Union countries where breastfeeding rate is the lowest. Many factors are in play such as lack of information and support of breastfeeding mothers facing daily challenges. GOAL: To study breastfeeding mothers' experiences and health professionals' role in supporting breastfeeding during the first months.RESULTS: The analysis of 13 interviews lead to the emergence of five themes: the breastfeeding experience was mitigated, overall positive but also hard especially in the first month. The participants resorted on helpfull resource persons, often the relatives or also the Internet and health professionals. They were undergoing destabilising prejudices from society regarding breastfeeding. The support by health professionals was considered real and helpful but insuffcient. The participants were demanding more knowledge and availability especially after returning from the maternity hospital. CONCLUSION: The support of breastfeeding mothers must be improved through a better instruction and awareness of health professionals. ; L'allaitement maternel est recommandé pendant une période minimum de 6 mois. La France est l'un des pays de l'union européenne où le taux d'allaitement est le plus bas. De nombreux facteurs sont en jeu dont le manque d'information et d'accompagnement des mères allaitantes face aux difficultés du quotidien. OBJECTIF : Etudier le vécu des femmes allaitantes et le rôle des professionnels de santé dans l'accompagnement de l'allaitement maternel au cours des premiers mois. Une étude qualitative par entretiens individuels semi-dirigés a été conduite entre avril et août 2018, auprès de femmes recrutées dans les services de suite de couches des hôpitaux de Sallanches et d'Annecy. Le recrutement était effectué jusqu'à saturation des données. Le codage et l'analyse des verbatims étaient réalisés en parallèle, par deux investigatrices, avec triangulation des données. L'analyse de 13 entretiens a fait émerger cinq thèmes : le vécu de l'allaitement maternel était mitigé, globalement positif mais aussi difficile notamment le premier mois. Les participantes avaient recours à des personnes ressources aidantes, souvent l'entourage ou alors Internet et les professionnels de santé. Elles subissaient les a priori déstabilisants de la société autour de l'allaitement maternel. L'accompagnement par les professionnels de santé était jugé réel et aidant mais de façon insuffisante. Les participantes demandaient plus de connaissances et de disponibilité notamment après le retour de la maternité. L'accompagnement des femmes allaitantes doit être amélioré grâce à une meilleure formation et une sensibilisation des professionnels de santé.

A determination of the top-quark mass is presented using 20.2 fb−1 of 8 TeV proton-proton collision data produced by the Large Hadron Collider and collected by the ATLAS experiment. The normalised differential cross section of top-quark pair production in association with an energetic jet is measured in the lepton+jets final state and unfolded to parton and particle levels. The unfolded distribution at parton level can be described using next-to-leading-order QCD predictions in terms of either the top-quark pole mass or the running mass as defined in the (modified) minimal subtraction scheme. A comparison between the experimental distribution and the theoretical prediction allows the top-quark mass to be extracted in the two schemes. The value obtained for the pole-mass scheme is: mpolet=171.1±0.4(stat)±0.9(syst)+0.7−0.3(theo) GeV. The extracted value in the running-mass scheme is: mt(mt)=162.9±0.5(stat)±1.0(syst)+2.1−1.2(theo) GeV. The inclusive cross-section for jet production in association with a Z boson decaying into an electron– positron pair is measured as a function of the transverse momentum and the absolute rapidity of jets using 19.9 fb−1 of √ s = 8 TeV proton–proton collision data collected with the ATLAS detector at the Large Hadron Collider. The measured Z + jets cross-section is unfolded to the particle level. The cross-section is compared with state-of-the-art StandardModel calculations, including the next-to-leading-order and next-to-next-to-leading-order perturbative QCD calculations, corrected for non-perturbative and QED radiation effects. A search for the production of three massive vector bosons in proton–proton collisions is performed using data at root s = 13 TeV recorded with the ATLAS detector at the Large Hadron Collider in the years 2015–2017, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 79.8 fb−1. Events with two same-sign leptons ℓ (electrons or muons) and at least two reconstructed jets are selected to search for WWW -> lvlvqq. Events with three leptons without any same-flavour opposite-sign lepton pairs are used to search for WWW -> lvlvlv, while events with three leptons and at least one same-flavour opposite-sign lepton pair and one or more reconstructed jets are used to search for WWZ -> lvqqll. Finally, events with four leptons are analysed to search for WWZ -> lvlvll and WZZ -> qqllll. The Spanish transition from dictatorship to democracy allowed the development of a democratic political communication in the style of the one that had been applied in the most developed European countries and in North America.The period opened in 1976. The parties that attended the first general elections in democracy had no experience in electoral communication and strategy. But since those initial moments, evolution and improvement have not stopped, with the incorporation of new techniques and the transversal use of contributions from Advertising, Marketing and Sociology to achieve effective political communication.The purpose of this article is the description of the way in which this evolution has taken place. The aim is to explain what political communication has been like in Spain from 1976 to 2012, with what main actors it has been told, what roles each of them has developed and in what legal framework and in what political environment has been developed.But before approaching the object in a systematic way, it seems significant, because of its extravagance and its relevance, to look at a specific period whose climax was the attack on March 11 at the Atocha station that, as is known, caused 200 deaths. ; La transición española de la dictadura a la democracia permitió el desarrollo de una comunicación política democrática al estilo de la que se venía aplicando en los países europeos más desarrollados y en Norteamérica.El período se abrió en l976. Los partidos que concurrieron a las primeras elecciones generales en democracia poseían una nula experiencia en comunicación electoral y en estrategia. Pero desde aquellos momentos iniciales la evolución y la mejora no han cesado, con la incorporación de nuevas técnicas y la utilización transversal de aportaciones de la Publicidad, el Marketing y la Sociología para lograr una comunicación política efectiva.El objeto de este artículo es la descripción de la forma en que se ha producido esta evolución. Se trata de exponer como ha sido la comunicación política en España desde el 1976 al 2012, con que actores principales se ha contado, que papeles han desarrollado cada uno de ellos y en que marco legal y en que entorno político se ha desarrollado.Pero antes de acercarnos al objeto de forma sistemática nos parece significativo, por su extravagancia y por su relevancia, fijarnos en un período concreto cuyo punto culminante fue el atentado del 11 de marzo en la estación de Atocha que como es sabido provocó caso 200 muertos.

Les productions animales représentent 16 % du commerce agroalimentaire international. Le déséquilibre croissant entre l'offre et la demande de produits animaux dans les pays asiatiques où la consommation progresse, surtout en Chine, stimule les échanges au bénéfice des grands pays exportateurs que sont l'Union Européenne (UE), les États-Unis, la Nouvelle-Zélande, le Brésil et l'Australie. Si cette évolution offre des opportunités commerciales pour les pays structurellement excédentaires, les achats ne sont pas toujours réguliers d'une année à l'autre et la concurrence par les prix est très forte, même si certains pays ont des exigences qualitatives. L'UE, qui est excédentaire en produits laitiers et en viande porcine, mais déficitaire (en valeur) en viande bovine et en viande de volailles, est le premier exportateur mondial de productions animales (avec 22 % du total, hors commerce intra-UE en 2016). En utilisant les données statistiques des douanes (BACI et COMEXT) de 2000 à 2016, cet article traite de l'évolution du commerce en productions animales. Il présente l'évolution du commerce international pour différents types de biens (produits laitiers, viande bovine, viande porcine, viande de volailles) et met en évidence les trajectoires commerciales des principaux pays déficitaires (Chine, Japon et Russie) et excédentaires (Inde, Australie, Nouvelle-Zélande, Brésil, États-Unis et UE). ; Animal production accounts for 16 % of the international agri-food trade. The growing imbalance between supply and demand for animal products in Asian countries, where consumption is growing, particularly in China, is boosting trade for the benefit of the major exporting countries: the European Union (EU), the United States, New Zealand, Brazil and Australia. While this development offers trade opportunities for structurally surplus countries, purchases are not always consistent from year to year and price competition is very strong, although some countries have qualitative requirements. The EU, which has a surplus in dairy products and pig meat, but is deficient (in value) in beef and poultry meat, is the world's largest exporter of animal products (with 22 % of the total, excluding intra-EU trade in 2016). This article deals with the evolution of trade in animal products using customs statistics data (BACI and COMEXT) from 2000 to 2016. It presents the evolution of international trade for different types of goods (dairy products, beef, pig meat, poultry meat) and highlights the trade trajectories of the main deficit countries (China, Japan and Russia) and the main surplus countries (India, Australia, New Zealand, Brazil, the United States and the EU).

Many European governments, including Norway, have ambitious educational policies regarding digitalisation. Many businesses and policymakers pay great attention to the use of digital technologies in education in order to meet the future demands for a competent and qualified workforce. Among researchers and policymakers, there is a general consensus that the professional teacher is a key figure for the successful implementation of digital technologies in schools. Many expectations have been placed upon professional teachers regarding the implementation and use of digital technologies. The professional teacher is, to a certain degree, supposed to independently decide how digital technologies should be used in the classroom. This paper discusses what the concept of a 'professional digitally competent teacher' may mean in the context of schools. It also argues the need for a greater understanding of professional digital competence, one which takes into consideration various social and cultural aspects with regard to technology, schools and the teaching profession. In unpacking the social and cultural conditions for implementing technology in a professional teaching context, I will draw on concepts from the constructivist understanding of technology, namely, the 'domestication of technology'. ; Muchos gobiernos europeos, incluido el de Noruega, tienen políticas educativas ambiciosas en materia de digitalización. Muchas empresas y responsables políticos prestan gran atención al uso de las tecnologías digitales en la educación para satisfacer la futura demanda de una mano de obra competente y cualificada. Entre los investigadores y los legisladores, existe un consenso general al considerar a los docentes profesionales como una figura clave para la aplicación con éxito de las TIC en la escuela, en lo referente a su implementación y su uso, y se han depositado muchas expectativas en ellos. Se supone que el docente profesional debe, hasta cierto punto, decidir de manera autónoma cómo se han de utilizar estas tecnologías digitales en el aula. Este artículo analiza lo que puede significar el concepto de «docente profesional digitalmente competente» en el contexto de la escuela. También argumenta sobre la necesidad de una mejor interpretación de la competencia digital profesional, que tenga en cuenta diversos aspectos sociales y culturales en relación con la tecnología, las escuelas y la profesión docente. A search for decays of the Higgs boson into a pair of new spin-zero particles, H→aa, where the a-bosons decay into a b-quark pair and muon pair, is presented. The search uses 36.1 fb−1 of proton-proton collision data at s√=13 TeV recorded by the ATLAS experiment at the LHC in 2015 and 2016. No significant deviation from the Standard Model prediction is observed. Upper limits at 95% confidence level are placed on the branching ratio (σH/σSM)×B(H→aa→bbμμ), ranging from 2×10−4 to 10−3 in the a-boson mass range of 20-60 GeV. The ground underneath the entire liberal international order is rapidly shifting. Institutions as diverse as the European Union, International Monetary Fund, United Nations, and World Trade Organization are under major threat. These institutions reflect decades of political investments in a world order where institutionalized cooperation was considered an essential cornerstone for peace and prosperity. Going beyond the politics of the day, this Article argues that the seeds of today's discontent with the international order were in fact sown back when these institutions were first created. We show how states initially design international institutions with features that later haunt them in unexpected ways. In the worst cases, states become so dissatisfied with the institutions they build that they threaten to abandon or dissolve them, shaking the foundations of the international order. Our central argument is that two cooperation problems intersect in unanticipated ways. The first problem – the horizontal conflict – involves the distribution of benefits among states. When states first create an international organization, they seek to capture a big share of the benefits and protect their interests vis-à-vis other states. They do this by demanding voting rules that allow them to block unfavorable decisions, requiring leadership positions for their own nationals, and lobbying to include their priority issues on the organization's agenda. We argue that this initial effort to resolve distributional conflicts is short-sighted, ultimately leaving states dissatisfied with the international organizations they build. The second problem – the vertical conflict among states collectively, on the one hand, and international organization bureaucracies and tribunals, on the other – is worsened by the compromises reached to resolve the horizontal conflict. For example, when states agree that key decisions must be reached by consensus, it becomes difficult to roll back the actions of a wayward secretariat or tribunal down the line. Or, when states place their own nationals in key positions, a multi-national body with an international agenda emerges. Such an international organization can become detached from the national concerns of its creators. Moreover, when states put their key issues on the organization's agenda, a broad mandate results. In turn, a broad mandate empowers the organization's staff to set its own priorities, making state control difficult. Contrary to prior isolated studies on horizontal and vertical conflicts, we are the first to identify how the two conflicts intersect in important and unexpected ways. To find possible solutions, we draw on analogous intersections in corporate law literature, which have been examined more thoroughly.

BACKGROUND: Reproductive factors are well known risk factors for breast cancer; however, little is known about how genetic variants in hormonal pathways interact with that relationship. METHODS: One thousand one hundred thirty nine cases of breast cancer in women and 1322 frequency-matched controls were compared. Genetic variants in hormonal pathways (identified in the Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes) were screened according to their relationship with breast cancer using the Cochran-Armitage statistic. Information on reproductive factors was obtained using a face-to-face questionnaire. The interaction among the selected genetic variants and reproductive factors was tested with logistic regression. RESULTS: Concerning C allele in rs2229712, compared to nulliparity in non-carriers the ORs for 1-2 and >?2 deliveries were 0.48 (0.28-0.81) and 0.34 (0.19-0.59), and in C carriers they were 0.92 (0.42-1.98) and 0.71 (0.31-1.61). Similar results were found in women carrying the C allele in rs1269851. Carriers of Allele T in rs35652107 and allele C in rs6018027 had the delivery number effect more pronounced. Charged Higgs bosons produced either in top-quark decays or in association with a top-quark, subsequently decaying via H± → τ±ντ, are searched for in 36.1 fb−1 of proton-proton collision data at √s=13 TeV recorded with the ATLAS detector. Depending on whether the top-quark produced together with H± decays hadronically or leptonically, the search targets τ+jets and τ+lepton final states, in both cases with a hadronically decaying τ-lepton. No evidence of a charged Higgs boson is found. For the mass range of mH± = 90–2000 GeV, upper limits at the 95% confidence level are set on the production cross-section of the charged Higgs boson times the branching fraction B(H±→τ±ντ) in the range 4.2–0.0025 pb. Searches for dijet resonances with sub-TeV masses using the ATLAS detector at the Large Hadron Collider can be statistically limited by the bandwidth available to inclusive single-jet triggers, whose data-collection rates at low transverse momentum are much lower than the rate from Standard Model multijet production. This Letter describes a new search for dijet resonances where this limitation is overcome by recording only the event information calculated by the jet trigger algorithms, thereby allowing much higher event rates with reduced storage needs. The search targets low-mass dijet resonances in the range 450-1800 GeV. The analyzed dataset has an integrated luminosity of up to 29.3 fb−1 and was recorded at a center-of-mass energy of 13 TeV. 1979 İslam Devrimi sonrasında İran, dış politikada özellikle ABD, Batılı ülkeler ve bazı bölge ülkeleriyle ilişkilerinde gergin bir dönem yaşamıştır. Nükleer program konusunda ABD ve Batı ülkeleriyle yaşanan anlaşmazlıklar nedeniyle İran'a uygulanan yaptırımlar, ülkeyi dış politikada yalnızlaştırırken, ekonomiye de ciddi hasar vermiştir. Hasan Ruhani'nin, 2013 yılı Haziran ayı içerisinde, İran Cumhurbaşkanlığı'na seçilmesi, İran'ın dış ilişkilerinde kırılma yaratan bir gelişme teşkil etmiştir. Ruhani yönetiminin itidalli dış politika ve yapıcı etkileşim anlayışı temelinde Batı ülkeleriyle oluşturulan diyalog, nükleer program konusunda tarihi bir uzlaşıya imkan sağlamış, ABD ve Avrupa ülkeleriyle ilişkilerde önemli gelişmeler yaşanmıştır. Bununla birlikte, Suriye ve diğer bölgesel krizler, İran'ın açılım ve diyalog politikaları üzerinde olumsuz bir etki yapmış, bölge ülkeleriyle yeni gerginlikler yaratmıştır. ABD'de 2017 yılı başında İran'a karşı sert bir tutum yanlısı Trump yönetiminin başa gelmesi ise Ruhani'nin Haziran 2017'de başlayan ikinci döneminde izleyeceği dış politikayı etkileyebilecek yeni bir sınama olarak ortaya çıkmıştır. Bu çalışmada, Ruhani dönemi dış politikasının paradigmaları ve Batılı ülkeler ve bölge ülkeleriyle ilişkilerde yaşanan gelişmeler incelenecek, ayrıca İran'ın tarihsel olarak bir rekabet içerisinde bulunduğu diğer bir önemli bölge ülkesi olan Türkiye ile ilişkiler de değerlendirilecektir. ; After the 1979 Islamic Revolution, Iran, in general terms, has been in a period of tension in foreign policy, especially with the US, Western and some regional countries. The sanctions imposed on Iran due to conflict with the US and Western countries on her nuclear program have severely damaged the economy while isolating the country in foreign policy. Hassan Rouhani's election to the Iranian presidency in June, 2013, constituted a breakthrough in Iran's foreign relations. Dialogue with the Western countries on the basis of the moderate foreign policy and constructive interaction concept of Rouhani administration has made significant progress in relation with the US and the European countries, allowing a historical agreement on the nuclear program. Nevertheless, Syrian and other regional crisis have had a negative impact on Rouhani's foreing policy approach based on opening and dialogue and created new tensions with some regional countries. The Trump administration which came to power in the beginning of 2017 in the US, advocating a hawkish attitude towards Iran, emerged as a new challenge that could affect the foreign policy of Rouhani in his second term started in June 2017. In this study, the paradigms of Rouhani's foreign policy and developments in relations with Western and regional countries will be examined. Moreover, Iran's relations with Turkey which is another pivotal country of the region and a historical rival of Iran, will be evaluated as well.

Long-term ecological research (LTER) sites need a periodic assessment of the state of their ecosystems and services in order to monitor trends and prevent irreversible changes. The ecological integrity (EI) framework opens the door to evaluate any ecosystem in a comparable way, by measuring indicators on ecosystem structure and processes. Such an approach also allows to gauge the sustainability of conservation management actions in the case of protected areas. Remote sensing (RS), provided by satellite, airborne, or drone-borne sensors becomes a very synoptic and valuable tool to quickly map isolated and inaccessible areas such as wetlands. However, few RS practical indicators have been proposed to relate to EI indicators for wetlands. In this work, we suggest several RS wetlands indicators to be used for EI assessment in wetlands and specially to be applied with unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). We also assess the applicability of multispectral images captured by UAVs over two long-term socio-ecological research (LTSER) wetland sites to provide detailed mapping of inundation levels, water turbidity and depth as well as aquatic plant cover. We followed an empirical approach to find linear relationships between UAVs spectral reflectance and the RS indicators over the Doñana LTSER platform in SW Spain. The method assessment was carried out using ground-truth data collected in transects. The resulting empirical models were implemented for Doñana marshes and can be applied for the Braila LTSER platform in Romania. The resulting maps are a very valuable input to assess habitat diversity, wetlands dynamics, and ecosystem productivity as frequently as desired by managers or scientists. Finally, we also examined the feasibility to upscale the information obtained from the collected ground-truth data to satellite images from Sentinel-2 MSI using segments from the UAV multispectral orthomosaic. Lisbon is one of the European Union cities that has one of the highest growth in the number of hotels. With the digital revolution, travelers can easily not only compare prices but also get information about the experience of other guests which can influence prices. The aim of this paper is to analyze how prices for a hotel stay can be influenced by some quality signaling factors, as star rating and online consumer's ratings (location, cleanliness, comfort, facilities, staff and value for money, available on Booking.com), the volume of consumer's comments and the availability of rooms in Lisbon. For 151 hotels in Lisbon, from 3 to 5 stars, through a multiple regression model, the results suggest that hotel category, location and facilities ratings have a positive influence on hotel room rates, but higher trade-off between what clients pay and the guest hotel stay experience has a negative impact on the consumer's willingness to pay, as well as the number of comments. Among different hotel categories, the influent factors are different. Our main findings provide signs to hoteliers to take corrective actions towards the attributes most valuable for consumers and that can provide a higher room rate premium. ; Lisboa é uma das cidades da União Europeia onde o número de hotéis tem tido uma das maiores taxas de crescimento. O objetivo deste artigo é o de analisar de que forma os preços podem ser influenciados por fatores sinalizadores de qualidade, como a categoria (número de estrelas), avaliações online (localização, limpeza, conforto, comodidades, funcionários e relação qualidade/preço, disponíveis no booking.com), o número de comentários dos hóspedes e a disponibilidade de quartos em Lisboa. Para 151 hotéis, de 3 a 5 estrelas, através de um modelo de regressão múltipla, os resultados sugerem que a categoria do hotel, os ratings de localização e comodidades têm uma influência positiva no preço, mas um maior trade-off entre o que os clientes pagam e a experiência que usufruem tem um impacto negativo na vontade de pagar, assim como o número de comentários. Verifica-se, ainda, que os fatores influentes diferem entre hotéis com diferentes categorias. Os resultados fornecem pistas para os hoteleiros promoverem ações corretivas relativamente aos atributos mais valorizados e que podem proporcionar um maior prémio no preço dos quartos. ; info:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersion
