This paper aims to examine various types of local wisdom that are carried out in managing peatlands in a sustainable manner within the framework of community-managed areas (wilayah kelola rakyat). The concept consists of four components, there are Tata Kuasa (Governance), Tata Kelola (Management), Tata Produksi (Production) and Tata Konsumsi (Consumption) which will be used as a peatland management framework. The use of this concept is expected to be a guide in managing peatlands through improving village governance and implementing agroindustry on peatlands based on local wisdom. The research was conducted in 16 villages in two districts in Jambi Province, Tanjung Jabung Barat and Tanjung Jabung Timur. The methods used are field observations, interviews and literature studies related to local wisdom, village governance and agroindustry. The results obtained are that actually the village community is able to utilize and process natural potential with existing local wisdom and is able to implement it in the form of village governance through drafting village regulations and processing agricultural products as part of agroindustry.

PurposeDespite consumers' widespread use of social media platforms, there is scant research on the underlying factors that influence their willingness to share digital footprints on social media. The purpose of this study is to address this research gap by examining consumers' cognitive and affective attitudes simultaneously.Design/methodology/approachThis research used quantitative method by using online survey administered to a sample of 733 social media users.FindingsThe findings indicate both cognitive and affective attitudes jointly influence consumers' behavioural intentions with trust as a key construct mediating the relationship between attitudinal antecedents and consumers' willingness to share digital footprints on social media.Research limitations/implicationsThis study contributes to the information systems (IS) literature by offering a comprehensive framework constituting the joint attitudinal components as antecedents to consumers' behavioural intention for sharing digital footprints while trust works as a mediator.Practical implicationsThis paper has important managerial implications. It helps marketers and IS managers in profiling consumers, understanding consumption patterns, sharing of digital footprints, which are useful for effective market segmentation, product development and future design of social media platforms. It informs social media providers of the importance of not only focussing on functional aspects but also underscores the essence of paying attention to consumers' affect towards social media platforms, especially trust.Originality/valueThe paper presents an original framework that explains the influence of joint attitudinal components on behavioural intention, with trust as a mediator.

PurposeThe purpose of this paper is to analyse the research design, methodologies and approaches utilised in electronic government (e‐government) research studies published in the last decade (2000‐2012).Design/methodology/approachA profiling approach is employed to analyse 114 (out of 3,934 from 2000 to 2012) e‐government publications (with specific focus on user satisfaction) including examining variables such as country of research, sample size, type(s) of respondents, data collection methods, and statistical tools and techniques employed.FindingsAmong the research design, methodologies and approaches adopted in the extant e‐government research studies, the quantitative research based approach supported by statistical analysis was the most dominant approach applied by authors in the last decade. Few studies were found to use qualitative‐based approaches such as case studies and interviews.Originality/valueThe prime value and uniqueness of this research lies in presenting the type of research design, methodologies and approaches used in studies that focus on issues surrounding user satisfaction in e‐government research. This has been achieved by synthesising existing publications in Electronic Government: An International Journal (EG), Electronic Journal of Electronic Government (EJEG), International Journal of Electronic Government Research (EJEGR), Transforming Government: People, Process and Policy (TG:PPP), Government Information Quarterly (GIQ), Public Administration Review (PAR), Public Administration: An International Quarterly (PA), Journal of Public Administration Research and Theory (JPART), and Local Government Studies (LGS).
