PLATFORM WORK AS A SIGN OF THE "UBERIZATION" OF WORKThe sharing economy has left a strong mark on the modern labour market. One of the popular forms of earning in the sharing economy is crowd employment. In the present paper the author analyzes a tripartite relationship between the crowdsourcer, crowdsourcing platforms and a crowdworker. The author is looking for legal models describing the particular relationships. He is considering whether the nature of employment can be attributed to them. The paper is of a reporting nature. The legal assessment refers to Polish law.

The article presents the ways of understanding the place of induction and deductive reasoning in the process of building the theory and knowledge of international relations and the resulting disputes present in the International Relations. The author argues that in the study of international relations, as in the natural sciences, it is necessary to combine empirical observation with creative building of theory. The author performs a critical analysis of the positions of selected theoreticians of international relations on issues related to the problems of induction and deduction and theorizing of international relations.

The following is a report of a first-person inquiry related to an international experience where the author was aware of feelings of alienation that he brought with him into the experience. Grounded in his historical experience as a special education university faculty, an upper middle class, straight white male, the phenomenon of othering made its way into his work with a group of Palestinian teachers. The awareness described was emergent and required dialogue to unravel. This inquiry is tracked through various phases. The author benefited from significant feedback from others involved throughout the process.

Australian Governments' Stance on Illegal Immigration in 1996–2018
Australia is well known for its strict immigration policy. It results from the country's constant struggle with the flow of illegal migrants, brought to Australian shores through human smuggling. The author analyses immigration policies of five Prime Ministers representing two major Australian parties: the Liberal Party of Australia and the Australian Labor Party. Starting with the premiership of John Howard (1996–2007), and ending with Malcolm Turnbull's era (2015– –2018), the author examines the situation of illegal immigrants in Australia and changes in immigration and asylum policies.

The author studies the chronology of the development of relations between Syria andTurkey on the stated issues, historical background and causes of conflict situations. The positionsof Syria, Turkey and Iraq on the current controversial situations related to the use of shared water resources are analyzed. The author focuses on the vital importance of water resources for theeconomy and national security of Syria. The role of regional integration associations in resolvingconflict situations on the stated issues is revealed.

The article analyzes the problems, achievements and contradictions in the genesis of the contemporary postmodern discourse. The author has carried out complex research, systematized and showed the main features and differences of postmodernism and metamodernism, as well as the role of neoliberal values in their development. The author has considered a new approach to the study of society and politics: neomodernist discourse with the dominant conservative values, opposing postmodern theory, methodology and practice he has identified the features of neomodernism: historicism, patriotism and healthy nationalism, populism, transactionalismn and realism in the world politics.

Breaking down his analysis to examine collectivism through substantive, moral and methodological lenses, he reviews a series of arguments for cooperative effort, solidarity and collective responsibility. This project examines the political limitations of the rhetoric of authenticity in relation to sexual and gender identity. Implementing Foucault's work on the discursive production of sexual identity, the author argues that the rhetoric of authenticity constructs an ahistorical representation of a fixed, innate identity. The author examines two mid-twentieth century studies of homosexual relationships in a women's prison at length to further show how the delineation between authentic and adaptive sexuality serves to stabilize and essentialize heterosexuality, rendering high rates of activity deemed "adaptive homosexuality" politically innocuous to the dominant heterosexist and binary sex/gender ideology.

Юридический факультет ; In the paper, the author analyzes theoretical and practical regulations of land disputes resolution in the Republic of Belarus. The topicality of the problem is grounded by the fact that Belarusian legislation does not contain enough provisions to effectively resolve land disputes. The subject of the study concerns land disputes and mechanisms for their resolution, including mediation as an alternative way to settle disputes. The author identifies some deficiencies in legislation and introduces suggestions on legislation improvement. The results received can be used in Land Law Acts enforcement and professional legal activity.

The author uses recent survey data to evaluate the plausability of three competing metaphors for North America: community, mosaic, or fortress. While there is support for all three metaphors, the mosaic metaphor of separate national societies coexisting within a common economic space appears to most closely fit the empirical data. This model has been challenged by the profound influences of American concerns with security and an increasingly isolationist outlook toward the world. The author discusses how the various social, political, and economic forces currently at play may alter the North American trajectory in the future.

New knowledge, created in international cooperation, is essential for global sustainability. Set against this background, this study focuses on German science policy for research cooperation with developing countries and emerging economies in sustainability research. Based on interviews with policy makers and researchers, the book scrutinizes the actors, processes and contents of science policy in Germany. The author argues that science policy mainly aims at German economic benefits and technology development. This, however, negatively influences global sustainability. To counter existing path dependencies, the author provides recommendations for sustainability-oriented scientific practice and science policy.

NATO's 1999 intervention in Kosovo was highly contested and seen as a turning point in international responses to mass violence. Making use of a new dataset on so-called "humanitarian military interventions" since the Second World War, the author examines the extent to which the Kosovo intervention has indeed initiated new trends. A comparison with other cases shows that NATO's Operation Allied Force differed from other military interventions with a declared humanitarian purpose. Moreover, the author introduces a typology of humanitarian military interventions and proposes a new measurement of their outcome that can facilitate comparative research.

Abstract
The author of the paper investigates Martha C. Nussbaum's philosophical concept of education in which education is considered key to all human development. In the first part, the author focuses on some of the more interesting ideas in Nussbaum's philosophy of education regarding the growth, development and improvement of the individual, community, society, nation, country and humankind. The second part is a critical exploration of the individual in education, looking specifically at the general development of humankind and the shaping of abstract cosmopolitan world citizens, which are the main political goals of Nussbaum's philosophy of education.

The article deals with international transport corridors linking Asia and Europe both through the territory of the EEU, and bypassing the Union. The author analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of existing and emerging routes, taking into account the interests of Russia. A special attention is paid to China and its initiatives in the transport and logistics sphere. In conclusion, the author notes that ensuring the attractiveness of the Euro-Asian transport corridors passing through the territory of the EEU requires a set of measures aimed at creating favorable conditions for transit.
