Not Available ; India is a very large country where 69% of total population depends on Agriculture. Agriculture has a great role in Indian economy because it contributes significantly about 14.8% in 2013-14 to the Gross Domestic Product. The percentage share of import and export of plant commodities have been of the order 3.22% and 13.79% of national import and export in 2013-14. There has always been the possibility of moving exotic insect pests, diseases and weeds from other country to India. Exotic pests and diseases introduced into India cause a huge damage to Indian agricultural trade. For these reasons to prevent the introduction of various exotic pests, diseases and weeds from other countries or within states of country, legal restrictions are enforced which is commonly known as Plant Quarantine. Plant Quarantine regulations at national level are known as Domestic Quarantine as well as at international level known as Foreign Quarantine. The implementation of the quarantine measures is assisted by legal approval, called quarantine laws. It acts as an important technique or procedure to exclude exotic pests from the crop. Efficient implementation of quarantine is extremely emphasized to manage pests, consequently which helps in sustaining the productivity of crops. Now mobile phones are very much preferable by the common men. Information can easily be shared through the mobile application. At present Plant Quarantine import regulations are presented in pdf form hence it is a tedious process for the users to find their specific requirement. It is very hard for an importer to know at any situation about these regulations whether any plant commodity is prohibited or allowed to import in India. Thus the need arises to provide the information in searchable manner. Import regulations are enlisted in four schedules with justification, condition, additional declaration on the basis of Commodity, Country of origin of the commodity, Category of the Commodity, Plant Part of the Commodity. This paper presents the requirement analysis, design, development and testing of an android based mobile application with different features which provide information about import regulations related to Commodity, Country Of Origin, Category, Plant Part which is promulgated by the Directorate of Plant Protection, Quarantine & Storage, Department of Agriculture, Cooperation & Farmer Welfare, Ministry of Agriculture and Farmer Welfare, Government of India to prevent the entry and spread of dangerous pests and pathogens. ; Not Available

Abstract. Situation awareness is usually conceptualized as design and implementation principles for safety critical industries like aviation or military. Finland was one of the first countries in the world to establish an intelligent transport systems (ITS) strategy in 2009. Increasing the situation awareness in traffic is regarded as one of the means to implement the strategy. In the theoretical part of this thesis, we explore the use of situation awareness and context awareness in intelligent transport systems. Particularly, the thesis focuses on summarizing proper design and evaluation principles to provide situation awareness support for fuel efficient driving. These guidelines were exploited in implementing a mobile application, called Driving Coach Mobile Application in the practical part of the thesis. The purpose of the application is to provide awareness to the drivers about how they can save fuel. Driving Coach Mobile Application's accordance of design and implementation principles to situation awareness support is validated by user study with simulated data focused on usability, usefulness and fuel efficiency awareness support. Tilannetietoisuuden parantaminen liikenteessä on edelleen eräs tämän strategian toimeenpanomuoto. Tämän työn teoreettisessa osassa tutkitaan avulla tilannetietoisuuden sekä toimintatilanteesta tietoisuuden soveltamista älyliikenteessä. Erityisesti tarkastellaan suunnittelu- sekä evaluointiperiaatteita polttoainetalouden tehokkuuden lisäämiselle tilannetietoisuuden avulla. Työn käytännön osuudessa sovellettiin näitä periaatteita mobiilisovelluksen toteuttamiseksi. Mobiilisovellus tukee kuljettajien polttoainetehokkaampaa ajamista. Sovellus testattiin käytettävyyden, hyödyllisyyden sekä polttoainetehokkaan ajamisen tuen suhteen. Sovellusta voidaan käyttää esimerkiksi kaupunkisuunnittelussa, autokannan toiminnan tarkkailemisessa tai vaikka henkilökohtaisen ajotavan arvioinnissa.

Using data from a national survey conducted in the United States, we examined factors affecting tablet computer users' intention to purchase mobile applications, using an extended model based on the unified theory of acceptance and use of technology. Participants were 316 tablet users,
who completed measures of performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence, facilitating conditions, perceived enjoyment, perceived mobility, perceived interactivity, and purchase intention. The results suggested that expectations of the effort required and social influence helped
to explain tablet computer users' intention to purchase mobile applications. Further, perceived enjoyment and perceived interactivity tended to increase intention to purchase tablet computer applications. These results imply that many tablet users perceive tablet computers as multimedia and
entertainment devices.

Currently, mobile devices are widely used as a support in education for teaching and learning of multiple academic subjects. An example of this is educational mobile applications, which in recent years have been massively developed and have generated multiple downloads for use in the classroom. Despite their features and benefits, the use of mobile devices such as smartphones is not usually allowed in classrooms due to the distraction they can generate. This paper aims to evidence the use of mobile devices in education and why it should be used as a support in the educational model. To do this, it is proposed to compare two teaching-learning methodologies and identify whether the use of mobile applications can influence the specific education of an engineering subject. The methodologies were tested in the classroom, focusing on IP addressing and network numbering systems, with two groups of students: an experimental group and a control group. At the end of the experiment, their performance was evaluated using a questionnaire. The answers of this questionnaire were subjected to an analysis of variance (ANOVA) and hypotheses were proposed to identify whether the use of a mobile application used as a support in the educational model has benefits in learning. Online shopping is used to getting order from the user through internet and mobile so, this is also called as mobile commerce. The goods are delivered to the customer with secured manner. A Secured Socket Layer (SSL) certificate is that the common place technique that wanted to defend net communications and it defend sensitive data because it travels across the net preventing any potential security attacks or threats on the approach. Essentially SSL could be a technology that encrypts and decrypts messages sent between the browser and server. Once the message is received by the server, SSL decrypts it, and verifies that it came from the right sender.

Smartphones are finding their way into our daily lives. This paper examines the domestication of smartphones by looking at how the way we use mobile applications affects our everyday routines. Data is collected through an innovative quantitative mixed-method approach, combining log data from smartphones and survey (perception) data. We find that there are dimensions of domestication that explain how the use of smartphones affects our daily routines. Contributions are stronger for downloaded applications than for native applications. Especially applications that require interaction with others, such as social media and instant messaging, have a serious impact on our day-to-day routines. As a result, appropriation is core in incorporating smartphones in daily life routines. However, frequency of use and the total number of minutes spent on a given type of application per day affect our everyday routines in different ways. This paper is the first quantitative domestication study that focuses on smartphones rather than feature phones. The theoretical contribution and practical implications are outlined.

Different types of pandemics that have appeared from time to time have changed many aspects of daily life. Some governments encourage their citizens to use certain applications to help control the spread of disease and to deliver other services during lockdown. The Saudi government has launched several mobile apps to control the pandemic and have made these apps available through Google Play and the app store. A huge number of reviews are written daily by users to express their opinions, which include significant information to improve these applications. The manual processing and extracting of information from users' reviews is an extremely difficult and time-consuming task. Therefore, the use of intelligent methods is necessary to analyse users' reviews and extract issues that can help in improving these apps. This research aims to support the efforts made by the Saudi government for its citizens and residents by analysing the opinions of people in Saudi Arabia that can be found as reviews onGoogle Play and the app store using sentiment analysis and machine learning methods. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first study to explore users' opinions about governmental apps in Saudi Arabia. The findings of this analysis will help government officers make the right decisions to improve the quality of the provided services and help application developers improve these applications by fixing potential issues that cannot be identified during application testing phases. A new dataset used for this research includes 8000 user reviews gathered from social media, Google Play and the app store. Different methods are applied to the dataset, and the results show that the k nearest neighbourhood (KNN) method generates the highest accuracy compared to other implemented methods.

Size discrimination, also called sizeism, is a type of discrimination based on people's weight or height and often appears unnoticed in everyday life. The main purpose of this work is to present a business plan for a mobile application that aims to help address size discrimination, contributing to the social inclusion of those who have experienced it. This mobile application will allow personal experiences and unheard voices to be public and shared without temporal and spatial barriers. Furthermore, it gives an opportunity for professionals to learn and change their attitudes toward size discrimination by connecting with people's experiences. In order to better understand the impact of this project on society, it was made a research about weight and height discrimination, as both are included in size discrimination, its roots and major issues. Moreover, it was conducted a survey in which was obtained significant results for this project. Additionally, strategic analysis tools such as PEST Analysis, Five Porter's Forces and SWOT Analysis, were used in order to review this project's market and competitive context. The following steps were to develop the segmentation, target and positioning as well as the marketing mix of this project. Lastly, there are many private programs and government programs that support social causes and social entrepreneurship. Therefore, this business intends to request funds from them, with the purpose of that, a financial analysis was developed to find out how much would be requested. ; A discriminação por tamanho, também chamada de tamanhismo, é um tipo de discriminação com base no peso ou altura das pessoas e que muitas vezes passa despercebida na vida cotidiana. O principal objetivo deste trabalho é apresentar um plano de negócios para uma aplicação móvel que visa ajudar a combater a discriminação por tamanho, contribuindo para a inclusão social de quem a vivência. Esta aplicação móvel permitirá que experiências pessoais e vozes não ouvidas sejam públicas e partilhadas sem barreiras temporais e espaciais. Ademais, é uma oportunidade para os profissionais aprenderem e mudarem suas atitudes em relação à discriminação por tamanho, ao conectar-se com as experiências das pessoas que as partilham. Para melhor compreender o impacto deste projeto na sociedade, foi feita uma pesquisa sobre a discriminação por peso e altura, visto que ambas estão incluídas na discriminação por tamanho, como também suas raízes e principais questões. Além disso, foi realizado um levantamento através de um questionário online, no qual foram obtidos resultados significativos para este projeto. Além disso, ferramentas de análise estratégica, como Análise PEST, 5 Forças Competitivas de Porter e Análise SWOT, foram usadas para revisar o mercado deste projeto e o contexto competitivo. As etapas seguintes foram desenvolver a segmentação, o objetivo e o posicionamento, bem como o mix de marketing deste projeto. Por último, existem muitos programas privados e programas governamentais que apoiam causas sociais e o empreendedorismo social. Portanto, este negócio pretende solicitar recursos e fundos deles, para tal, foi desenvolvida uma análise financeira para saber quanto seria solicitado.
