A characteristic feature of rock culture, despite the seemingly nihilistic its nature, is the integration of the experience of other cultures and different arts. The rock musicians address classical and folklore music, poetry and theater as a guarantee of quality at the expense of such permanent makeup, and its existence at all. The purpose of this publication is to study the genre's recitation of music in the modern Ukrainian rock music.Today one of borrowed rock music phenomenon is recitation of music – reading poems to music. This concert genre is the most appropriate for the modern Ukrainian rock, the recitation of music, appearing in theatrical environments, evolving phenomenon of academic tradition, has great potential to enrich the rock art.Experiments involving seemingly foreign to the rock art genres and forms were almost immediately after the emergence of rock music. For example, such genres as rock opera and concept album (which originated from the instrumental and vocal cycles Romantic era), appear less than a decade after the first rock 'n' roll.Today in Ukraine there are many examples of poetic rock tandems, the best of which we believe are common creative of Yuriy Andruhovych and band "Karbido", Sergiy Zhadan and the band "Sobaky v Kosmosi", Yuriy Izdryk and the "Drumtyatr", Artem Polezhaka with the band "Barabas".The result of collaboration Yuriy Andruhovych with polish band "Karbido", (their music is not the only rock) appears as a triptych of albums "Moonshine. Cinnamon. Absinthe ", written and published in 2008, 2009 and 2011. The first album of cycle, which has Ukrainian and Polish versions, is a monolithic and consists of nine tracks. All poems included in the album are free verse that sound during meditative, minimalistic accompaniment. Poetic material for the album "Cinnamon" is taken from the book "Exotic birds and plants" and, unlike the previous one, consists of accentual-syllabic verse. At the same time, the musical language of the cycle is complicated and significantly expands the style aspect. The final part of the series "Moonshine. Cinnamon. Absinthe" is the clearest example of the use polystylism in trilogy. The results of the creative tandem of Sergiy Zhadan and the group "Sobaky v kosmosi" at this moment just deducted three albums (respectively – three concert programs): "Sports Club of the Army" (2008), "The weapon of the proletariat" (2012) and "Fight for Her" (2014). "Sports Club of the Army" consists of seven verses and the final number "Galya" performed by female folk Ukrainian song "Why do not you come." Most of the poems of Sergiy Zhadan, which were included in the album, are free verse, which reading on the background of primitive music parody (Zvenimir Babak), nostalgic ("Nataha"), dance ("Boxers") or mock-mourning ("Dimple") character. The album "Sports Club of the Army" is social in content. Sergiy Zhadan describes stories of addicts, migrant workers, athletes, poets as typical representatives of modernity. If the "Sports Club of the Army" consists almost entirely of free verse, the next two albums based purely on rhyming poetic material. In general, "Weapon of the proletariat" (2012) and "Fight for Her" (2014) are similar in structure and content and have distinct political content, with introduction of variable-improvised topical text, depending the time and place of performance of the band, and an unexpected ending. The poet Yuriy Izdryk picked general wave of interest literary and musical projects in 2010 with musician Gregory Semenchuk founded the project "Drumtyatr" in which he not only reads poetry, but also plays the bass guitar. An exceptional musicality Izdryk's manner of writing (especially since poetry), his meditative style reading wonderfully combined with a mixed style of music. "Drumtyatr", that has features electronic music, kraut rock, post-rock, rap and dubstep. In 2011 was released a joint album of poet Artem Polezhaka and band "Barabas" called "Spring. Love. Polezhaka", where there is a strengthened role of music (compared with projects Y. Andruhovych and S. Zhadan). Increased interest of poetry plenty of audience in different periods, leading at first to its public readings (concert performance poetry), and then – to new forms of synthesis with other arts, particularly music. Native poets actively work with rock musicians in the form of readings of poems to music. Most supporters of collaboration with musical bands were representatives of the "first tier" of modern Ukrainian literature by Ivano-Frankivsk (Y. Andruhovych and Y. Izdryk) and Kharkov (S. Zhadan and A. Polezhaka) schools. Poets in similar projects use as accentual-syllabic verse and free verse (even if they are not typical for them, as is the case with Artem Polezhaka).Reading poems to music in modern terms-round attraction to synthesize a variety of genres, styles and forms of art has a great potential and broad prospects for development. I f, following Max Weber (1917), we describe our reality of modernized, bu-reaucratic and secularized society as disenchanted (in German: entzaubert), then a number of literary genres, ranging from magical realism to fantasy, aim at playful, literary re-enchantment of the world and therefore represent a strong anti-modernist gesture in the midst of contemporary culture. While pointing to "natural" restrictions of the objective, rational perception of the world and often questioning rationality as such, fantastic elements of literary texts normally aim at sharpening the reader's awareness of the limitations of the customary approach towards reality, thus potentially enabling a new look at social, political and cul-tural problems of the "real" world. Therefore, both the fictions that realistically "describe" or "reflect" the world, and those texts that transfer social and political phenomena to the realms of the uncanny, the grotesque, and the (post)modern mythology, are of importance. The novels "Twelve Circles" (2003-04) and "Voroshilovgrad" (2010) obviously belong to the latter category. These texts are not stereotypical, naturalistic stories about the life of the post-Soviet elite; instead, they offer a postmodern anthology of types, motives, and plots, which, among other elements, also include the de-monic figures of the oligarchs. Despite their structural significance, these figures, however, are not real "characters" of the story, but appear in the form of phan-tasmagoric images, whose agency manifests itself only through the discourses of "money," "power," and "violence:" discourses the oligarchs control and use against the protagonists of the novels.
The present investigation is dedicated to the problem of fanfi ction as a genre of digital literature and its basic characteristics. The objective of the paper is to single out similarities and diff erences in the lingual representation of the main characters' speech portraits in fanfi cs and canon-texts. As a side task of the investigation we mean to determine the degree of fi cwriter's freedom in portraying such characters. Employing the cutting-edge methods of cognitive linguistics, narratology and text analysis and grounding on traditional syntactic theories, the author argues that besides being interactive, hypermediatic, multimodal, processual and interwoven with other texts of the same type, digital literature boasts such characteristics as ludative nature and imitativity. The results of the investigation prove all of them to be intrinsic to fanfi ction where they fi nd refl ection on the level of author-reader integrative collaboration as well as in the plot and language of the work of fi ction. The most democratic genre of fi ction, fanfi ction is still restricted by the canon-text in terms of both creative images and characters' speech portraits, the deepest level of syntax inclusive.
The paper deals with the semantic and structural specificity of political extravaganza as a genre of dramaturgy. The history of this literary and dramatic kind and also its scantily explored genetic connection with the dramatic pamphlet, which arose in the 18th-century English theatre, are briefly retraced. Its artistic peculiarity is investigated by using material from several plays of Bernard Shaw, which were written from the 1920s–1930s (The Apple Cart, Too True to be Good, Geneva, On the Rocks). The genre definition was used by the playwright for the first time as a subtitle to the play The Apple Cart, the first performance of it took place in Warsaw in 1929; the extravaganza was staged by Arnold Szyfman at the "Teatr Polski". Special attention is paid in the article to such features of political extravaganza, as paradox, the grotesque and eccentricity, which become apparent at some levels of dramatic text: in the linguo-stylistic originality of the tirades and dialogues, as well as in the extensive stage directions and sometimes in the titles, in the characters of personages, in construction of the plots and in the composition of the plays. Of primary interest is also the eccentric treatment of the artistic time in the plays based on the historical personalities or episodes, and in the introduction of fantastical elements to the dramatic action. The essential role of the concentrated eccentricity in the sharpening and the emphasized topicalization of political satire is also discussed in the paper.

The article deals with a genre variety of portrait essay - a political portrait. Proceeding from the assumption that the specificity of portrait essay in the Chinese Russian language media political discourse is determined, first of all, by the object of portrayal and the writer's intention, the authors of the article analyze the category of communicative tone (V. I. Karasik) and come to the conclusion about the axiological markedness of the given category and its ideological variation. The system of values lying at the basis of the formation of the public opinion about a Chinese politician is present-ed as a dichotomy of "value/anti-value", which allows regarding the axiological orientation of political portrait as the leading text-forming factor of this genre. The political portraits created by the Chinese language speakers are characterized by two main kinds of communicative tone - informative and ideological. This article considers features of the transformation of the feuilleton genre within post-revolutionary newspaper discourse. The author examines feuilletons by P. Ya. Blinovsky, who gained popularity with the Yekaterinburg press before the Revolution of 1917 and published articles in the newspapers Uralsky Rabochiy, Uralskaya Nov' and their supplements after the Revolution. The article studies the features underlying the image of the persona of feuilletons, the artistic techniques used by the feuilletonist in his post-revolutionary creative work as compared to his prerevolutionary works. Blinovsky's creative activity is shown in the context of his biography, for which the author considers archival data: the life and creative path of Blinovsky between 1914 and 1922 which was full of activity both on the personal and creative levels. Blinovsky attempts to return to his reader, but at a new historical stage, choosing a new pseudonym, changing his artistic language. The demand for the practical use of the feuilleton remains unchanged. During the Soviet era, the creative experience of feuilletonists was not studied enough, Blinovsky's experience as an author of feuilletons in Uralsky Rabochiy was forgotten. Nevertheless, Blinovsky's poetic feuilletons can serve as an example of the use of pre-revolutionary artistic techniques in the Soviet era. The experience of P. Ya. Blinovsky was rare for the Yekaterinburg press, his poetic texts were in demand both before and after the Revolution of 1917 in newspapers that adhered to various political programmes. At the same time, his poetic feuilletons remained relevant for the contemporaries, while at the same time alleviating the experience of the traumatic transition to a new sociopolitical system. Therefore, the features of adaptation of the artistic language of the feuilleton to the new realities of the Soviet press should be studied in detail.
