This document is the outcome of a European project that aimed to develop an internationally recognized qualification profile for job coaches, to facilitate the social and economic inclusion of people with developmental, cognitive and mental health problems. Although the role of 'Job Coach for person with disabilities' does not currently have the status of an established profession within the European Union, there is common agreement that their main professional task is to provide personal on-site assistance in employment for persons with specific health needs1. As a result, the partner organizations, representing five European nations, set out to design 'Job Coaching' as a new occupation in the 2423 (Personnel and Careers Professional) group2 within the European Skills, Competences Qualifications and Occupations (ESCO) system3. Currently, as a non-registered occupation, the position of Job Coach is not regulated within the European Qualification Framework for lifelong learning (EQF), and this is an issue that the present project aimed to address.

According to the mainstream literature on globalization and international migration, the nation-state's ability to manage immigration pressures has been massively reduced in recent decades. Contrary to this view, this article demonstrates that immigration control based on national structures may still work successfully if governments broaden their approach to the problem and make it a topic of all areas of policy, including foreign affairs and economic policy. A survey of German migration policy since reunification is given as an example of basically effective immigration control by government action adapting to the new challenges in the field.
Over the past decade significantly increased flows of emigration from Lithuania pointed out the relevance of emigration impact assessment on the national economic growth, as the country is losing economic, scientific, technical, innovative potential. Emigration has become one of the most important and controversial recent economic and political subject of discussions, however impact of different qualification groups on the national economic growth has not been emphasized. This is an important aspect of the research, because impact of migration on the national economic growth in the macroeconomic level depends on the political, economic and social conditions as well as on the individual characteristics of emigrants, their owned capital and behaviour. Therefore this paper presents the integrated assessment model of the impact of emigrants' qualification structure on the national economic growth, which has been applied in the case of Lithuania.Emigration impact was assessed through the aggregated cost components, therefore GDP expenditure method has been chosen because it allows to identify systemically expenditure groups related to the economic growth through the incoming and outgoing cash flows which is determined by the emigrants' role in every economic sector. The calculation results showed that increase in part of qualified emigrants negatively influenced national economic growth during the whole analysed period. The biggest negative effect came from the change of consumption expenditure while the positive effect from the saved social benefits did not overcome the negative one. The calculations showed that the change of 10 per cent of emigrants' qualification structure determined on average of 5 per cent of the GDP loss change in the country.DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.5755/j01.ee.25.3.5247

The aim of this study is to analyse and assess the contrasting national skills policies associated with ICT (Information and Communication Technologies) skill supply in Britain and Germany. We also aim to examine the impact of these strategies on firms and to assess the utilization of skills at different qualification levels in companies. Finally we point to possible implications for companies, young people and educational institutions of a change in German higher education to the Bachelor degree. The study is based on published statistical sources and on interviews with some 90 firms in Britain and Germany. These were drawn from four sectors, financial services, retailing, motor manufacture and software development.

Discrediting competing trademarks consists in the spread of certain information regarding the trademarks owned by the competitor of the undertaking realising the disparaging actions. Relating the idea to the legislative provisions in force of the Republic of Moldova, it can be inferred that there are two options for qualifying such a conduct - according to the rules of unfair competition and in accordance with the rules of dishonest advertising. In such circumstances, the obvious question raised is whether the qualification will be done in accordance with one or another relevant legal norm. This aspect requires a broad clarification in the sense of offering viable alternative solutions and corresponding to the various practical factual situations. In this context, it is necessary to establish defined criteria in material and procedural terms in order to achieve a clear delimitation between different qualifying vectors. Circumstantially, there is a need to resort to the approach of domestic practice in this matter, as well as to the treatment of legislative, theoretical and practical trends in other states and legal systems.
