Background: The Jordanian health system was overwhelmed in the early phases of coronavirus pandemic, primarily due to the lack of workers, and the breakdown of several medical centers. Healthcare workers suffered tremendous physical and mental pressure due to this unprecedented situation. Purpose: This research aims at investigating the experiences of nurses caring for patients with COVID-19 in field hospitals. Methods: A qualitative phenomenology research aimed to explore the experiences of nurses in field hospitals in Jordan caring for COVID-19 patients. Intentional and snowballing sampling methods were conducted on twenty nurses from May to June 2022. Results: The study generated four main themes and ten sub-themes, (1) Sense of obligation and pride, (2) Stress, (3) Personal development, (4) Feelings of helplessness and betrayal. Physical, emotional, and mental changes of nurses were observed after caring for patients with severe illness resulting from COVID-19. Conclusion: The findings of the study acknowledged the participants' willingness to enrich their knowledge and expand their work expertise by being part of this experience. The analysis of the themes and sub-themes has shown that nurses experienced stress, anxiety, depression, as well as other psychological and mental challenges. Therefore, healthcare leaders should consider meeting the nurses' needs and resolving challenges that faced them. Implications for Nursing: Healthcare policymakers and leaders in the health sector should consider implementing programs that support nurses' well-being and productivity under crises. Also, additional pay allowance should be considered to compensate for the dangerous time that nurses spend in special situations, such as the COVID-19 pandemic. Shirin M. Rai examines the human costs of caring and how these are reproduced across the boundaries of class, race, gender, and generation. Including case studies from different parts of the world and building on various methodologies, Rai looks at the costs of care work, or what she calls 'social reproduction' in several forms. Chapters examine the costs of commuting to work, the value of unpaid work performed by women of different classes, the costs of household work performed by children, and the costs to communities when local economies are challenged by corporate interests.

The review was carried out using the PRISMA and PICO methods based on the search results of the BMC, IJCS, IJRPH, Science Direct and Wiley Online databases, with the keyword "Caring and Nursing Service" and the results obtained were 1216 articles. After screening the articles based in inclusion and exclusion criteria, for total 7 articles included in this review study. The patients were generally satisfied with the caring behavior of the nurses in the hospital, but the level of satisfaction of patients in private hospitals was higher than patients in public hospitals. Nurse caring behavior is the most important services for hospital, especially in government hospitals. Good nurse behavior has a positive effect on patient satisfaction and care in each hospital. Based on the research results, nurses have to apply caring behavior sufficiently to patients related to basic human needs

Can performance art be conserved? If so, how, and if not, why not? Enhanced by short philosophical reflection surrounding conservation and its entanglement with the world, this essay reviews the debates that took place on the occasion of the international colloquium devoted to the conservation of performance, Performance: The Ethics and the Politics of Care. The colloquium was organized at Bern University of the Arts on May 29-30, 2021 within the research project Performance: Conservation, Materiality, Knowledge (Swiss National Science Foundation, 2020-24). The essay investigates the notion of performance through the lens of its conserveability and through a multidisciplinary perspective represented by a diversity of voices during the colloquium. It ultimately presents both performance and conservation as inherently unstable categories that require a careful and reflective approach. ; La performance peut-elle être conservée? Enrichi par une courte réflexion philosophique autour de la conservation et de ses interrelations avec le monde, cet essai passe en revue les débats qui ont eu lieu lors du colloque international consacré à la conservation de la performance, Performance: The Ethics and the Politics of Care. One of the most significant shifts in science policy of the past three decades is a concern with extending scientific practice to include a role for 'society'. Recently, this has led to legislative calls for the integration of the social sciences and humanities in publicly funded research and development initiatives. In nanotechnology – integration's primary field site – this policy has institutionalized the practice of hiring social scientists in technical facilities. Increasingly mainstream, the workings and results of this integration mechanism remain understudied. In this article, I build upon my three-year experience as the in-house social scientist at the Cornell NanoScale Facility and the United States' National Nanotechnology Infrastructure Network to engage empirically and conceptually with this mode of governance in nanotechnology. From the vantage point of the integrated social scientist, I argue that in its current enactment, integration emerges as a particular kind of care work, with social scientists being fashioned as the main caretakers. Examining integration as a type of care practice and as a 'matter of care' allows me to highlight the often invisible, existential, epistemic, and affective costs of care as governance. Illuminating a framework where social scientists are called upon to observe but not disturb, to reify boundaries rather than blur them, this article serves as a word of caution against integration as a novel mode of governance that seemingly privileges situatedness, care, and entanglement, moving us toward an analytically skeptical (but not dismissive) perspective on integration.

Le mémoire Éthique et politiques du care. Imaginant une caring society propose une lecture de l'éthique du care en tant qu'éthique non antagoniste et non opposée à celle de la justice. Avec ce travail, on procède à montrer en quoi il est préférable de se pencher vers une harmonie entre les deux « tonalités de voix » morale, l'une inspirée par la justice et l'autre par le care, et de recentrer le concept de ce qui est important à côté de ce qui est juste au sein du choix moral. Dans un deuxième moment, nous montrons que l'éthique du care n'est pas une éthique féminine, mais que, au contraire, elle possède un caractère féministe ainsi que multiculturel. À partir de ce constat, nous ne pouvons que souhaiter un repartage des travaux du care, typiquement féminin, entre les deux sexes et entre les classes sociales, en faisant appel à une nouvelle responsabilité de la part de privilégiés. Pour réfléchir à la possibilité de réaliser des nouvelles formes de politiques du care, nous avons fait références aux contributions de philosophes tels Joan Tronto, Eva Feder Kittay, Martha Nussbaum, Amartya Sen et Philippe Pettit, en prélevant de chacun les éléments qui, comme on a essayé d'argumenter, pourraient être précieux pour imaginer une société du care. La conception holiste du care, la critique à la théorie de la justice comme équité, l'interdépendance et la vulnérabilité comme statut anthropologique, l'inclusion du care parmi les biens premiers, le concept de doula, l'approche par les capabilités et leur rapport avec le care, la liberté comme non-domination, constituent tous des conquêtes précieuses pour imaginer une caring society. A la base des propositions avancées, demeure, constante, la revendication de la nécessité d'une redistribution des professions du care et une leur reconnaissance et réhabilitation au sein de la société. En fin, dans la troisième et dernière partie, nous avons essayé de suggérer l'idée que, à travers l'attention, l'empathie et l'imagination, il est possible inventer et imaginer des nouveaux espaces du care, dont la pratique de l'assistance sexuelle serait exemple et expression.
