A survey of international political economy curricula at universities in GB & the US (N = 26 & 241, respectively) explores what is being taught in these courses, determines whether the classes are traditional or inclusive, considers implications for the field, & analyzes the differences between university communities in GB & the US. In both settings, classes focus on the importance of the state, although this traditional perspective is more marked in the US. Several areas of silence are also evident: little attention is given to feminist analysis or consideration of environmental issues, & there is almost no discussion of labor. 1 Appendix, 50 References.
