Purpose of the study: This study investigated the socio-economic effect on household consumption of rural farmers in South Sumatera, Indonesia. Methodology: The data used were primary data obtained from an in-depth survey of 300 farmer households. The analysis method used a quantitative approach with a polynomial regression model. Main Findings: The finding showed that from the four independent variables estimated, there are three which have a significant effect on farmer household consumption: household income, number of family members, and education level of the household head. Despite changes in consumption patterns between food and non-food, the process of food diversification is an important task for the government, especially to reduce dependence on rice consumption. Applications of this study: This study was conducted in South Sumatra, Indonesia in the field of agricultural economics. This study can support development planning policies in the food sector in South Sumatra. Novelty/Originality of this study: This study focus as efforts on the policy of diversifying food consumption needs to be synergized with the development of local resource-based food products.

The study aims to investigate the relationship between the prices of agricultural products at the producer level with the prices of the same products at the consumer level in South Sumatera, Indonesia with a case study on the production and consumption of rice as the most important agricultural product in Indonesia. The analytical approach is linear regression modelling with Ordinary Least Squares (OLS), and the Approach of Index Market Connection model (IMC). The findings of the study indicated integration between the price of rice at the producer level and the price of rice at the consumer level. In addition, the three sample regions have IMC value less than 1, meaning that both markets have vertical integration in the short run. Another finding of this study is that the high price difference at the local market level is due to the long distribution of rice commodities in South Sumatera. Government intervention is particularly needed at the local market-level on pricing policy by shortening the distribution channels. ; peer-reviewed

It is very important for a developing nation to developing their infrastructure on the prime priority because their infrastructure particularly their roads and transportation functions as a blood in the system. Almost 1.1 billion populations share the travel and transportation industry in India. On the other hand, the Pakistan transportation industry is also extensive and elevating about 170 million users of transportation. Indian and Pakistani specifically within bus industry are well connected within and between the urban and rural areas. The transportation industry is radically helping the economic alleviation of both countries. Due to high economic instability, unemployment and poverty rate both countries governments are very serious and committed to help for boosting their economy. They believe that any form of transportation development would play a vital role in the development of land, infrastructure which could indirectly support many other industries' developments, such as tourism, freighting and shipping businesses, just to mention a few. However, it seems that their previous transportation planning in the due course has failed to meet the fast growing demand. As with the span of time, both the countries are looking forward to a long-term, and economical solutions, because the demand is from time to time keep appreciating and reacting according to other key economic drivers. Content analysis method and case study approach is used in this paper and secondary data from the bureau of statistic is used for case analysis. The paper focused on the mobility concerns of the lower and middle-income people in India and Pakistan. Entrepreneurial orientation (EO) is a strategy of the organization that increasingly changes the outcome of their performances.This study intended to examine the economic outcome of the entrepreneurial orientation.It also tried to explain how government and the perceived environment impacts on the business organizations to successfully applying EO dimensions.The study found that applying EO in the business organizations less contributed to the economic growth of Malaysia comparing to other countries. The study also found that Malaysian government and private institution offered supportive programs to transfer the attitude and traits of the firms towards the application of the EO.The repayment of the loans is found to be an issue to government and private institutions to maintain their supports.The perceived environment, entrepreneurial knowledge and the attitude of entrepreneurs are key factor of the successful application of EO dimensions.

The current development of globalization has led to a very fundamental transformation in the economic system. the phenomenon of globalization cannot be avoided by any country, moreover countries that previously isolated it from the outside world cannot be avoided either. Therefore any country will still be affected by globalization, so that it will create international trade that is increasingly spreading from every country. This study aims to analyze the role of institutional quality through government effectiveness and regulatory quality, foreign direct investment, and country size on trade openness in the ASEAN-6 region during the 2002-2021 period using panel data analysis techniques. in using the panel data technique based on the best testing through the Chow test and the Hausman test that the best model used in this study is the Fixed Effect Model (FEM) which shows the variables of government effectiveness and investment directly have a positive and significant effect on trade openness. while the quality of regulations and country size have a negative and significant effect on trade openness in the Asean Region.

Due to human activity-related carbon dioxide emissions, the earth's temperature has increased, resulting in climate change and global warming. The anomaly of climate change, which raises the global average temperature, has shown that environmental damage is genuine. In five ASEAN nations—Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, and the Philippines—between 2001 and 2020, this study will examine the impact of GDP, energy use, and forest area on carbon dioxide emissions. This study's methodology combined quantitative descriptive analysis with panel data regression analysis. The findings indicate that forest area and gross domestic product have a negative and considerable impact on carbon dioxide emissions. Consequently, carbon dioxide emissions are positively and significantly impacted by energy usage.
