Three Hundred Years of Cooperation
In: International affairs: a Russian journal of world politics, diplomacy and international relations, Band 57, Heft 1
Abstract
The roots of relations between France and Russia go back to the beginning of the 18th century. At the end of the 20th century and beginning of the 21st centuries, Russian-French relations became even stronger in such areas as political, economic, scientific, educational, literary and art affairs. In March 2010, French president Nicolas Sarkozy expressed the need to forget about the Cold War and improve relations between Russia and the European Union, as well as NATO and Russia.
