In: Geographische Berichte: Mitteilungen der Geographischen Gesellschaft e.V, Band 28, Heft 4, S. 249-261
Abstract
Considering the manifold economic tasks to be dealt with by the young nation-states the economic cooperation between the developing countries increasingly gains importance as numerous regional economic associations in Africa show. The main part of the article deals with the situation and the actual problems of the economic cooperation in African developing countries with different social orientation. Lacking central coordination and hampered by still other objective and subjective impediments the economic cooperation is stagnating at present. Finally two regional economic organisations in southern Africa are characterized in detail. (abstracts in German anthropology - Winter 84-354)
