Abstract

The Neoliberalism, as much in its theoretical doctrine as in its political praxis, has defended de dismantling of the Welfare State. The denominated Globalisation that it has promoted synthetizes the whole economic, political, social & cultural changes happened during the last decades. Despite the denomination & intensity of this mercantilizer process, the Welfare State hasn't been removed, although it has suffered changes. The impossibility to carry out this elimination is due mostly to economic reasons but also political, social & cultural ones. Adapted from the source document.
