Abstract
Different measures of socioeconomic status and different cutting points for each of the measures are examined. Both the strength of relationship with dependent variables and the statistical level of significance varies depending on the measure of socioeconomic status and the choice of cutting point. It is suggested that researchers report a range of statistical values in their analyses.
