Abstract

International audience ; In the middle of the 8th religious war, the 5th January 1589, Catherine died at Blois, where the French court had taken refuge. This paper analyzes the circumstances of her death and the five displacements of her body, due to the political crisis in the first years of the reign of Henri IV of France.
