EL PERÚ NO ES XAUXA: COVID-19 Y CRISIS 2020-2021

Abstract

Las peculiaridades de la pandemia COVID-19 en Perú, país excesivamente centralista, cuya población está muy marcada por grandes diferencias sociales y pobreza urbana como rural. En particular por la informalidad económica e institucional con fuerte incidencia en las dimensiones socio sanitarias. Además, se analiza la relación entre el contagio y la morbimortalidad de la pandemia, con la fuerte crisis política e institucional que se han retroalimentado durante este año y medio. Finalmente se revisa la relación entre ciudad, vivienda y salud en un país caracterizado por la informalidad que afectó históricamente la situación económica de su población. SUMMARYThe peculiarities of the COVID-19 pandemic development in Peru, a highly centralist country, whose population is deeply characterized by great social differences and urban and rural poverty. In particular due to the economic and institutional informality with strong impact on the social and health dimensions. In addition, analyzes the relationship between infection, morbidity and mortality of the pandemic with the strong political and institutional crisis that has been fed back during the first year and a half. Finally, it reviews the relationship between city, housing and health in a country also characterized by informality that deeply affected the economic situation of its population.
