Abstract
This article tries to explore the limits of the legal concepts related to the refugee world by moving from one camp to another in the north-east of Sudan. This spatial approach, in the form of descriptive 'travelling', is based on a back-to-back comparison between two exile territories. One is still recognised by the international community while the other is renamed as an existing entity. These two contradictory spaces are leading to the paradox of humanitarian aid. ; International audience ; This article tries to explore the limits of the legal concepts related to the refugee world by moving from one camp to another in the north-east of Sudan. This spatial approach, in the form of descriptive 'travelling', is based on a back-to-back comparison between two exile territories. One is still recognised by the international community while the other is renamed as an existing entity. These two contradictory spaces are leading to the paradox of humanitarian aid.
