Abstract

In the context of transforming the Cuban economic model, one factor to consider in achieving its objectives is the dynamic and synergy of the business fabric, made up of a greater diversity of actors in terms of ownership and management. This article sets out some ideas on the importance and content of business development and its links as a premise for the development of the country. In the latter case, there is an emphasis on the international integration of Cuba as one of the pivots to achieve and sustain this development. Subsequently, some of the players in the Cuban business sector are described in terms of the legal framework in force, their dynamics in recent years and problems that still prevail in their performance and interaction. ; RESUMEN En el contexto de transformaciones del modelo económico cubano un factor a considerar para el logro de sus objetivos es la dinámica y sinergia del tejido empresarial, conformado hoy por una mayor diversidad de actores en cuanto a formas de propiedad y gestión. En el presente artículo se formulan algunas ideas sobre la importancia y contenido del desarrollo de empresas y de sus nexos como premisa para el desarrollo del país. Se acentúa en este último caso lo relacionado con la inserción internacional de Cuba como uno de los pivotes para lograr y sostener dicho desarrollo. Con posterioridad, se realiza una caracterización de algunos de los actores del tejido empresarial cubano en cuanto al marco legal vigente, su dinámica en los últimos años y problemas que aún prevalecen en su desempeño e interacción.
