Abstract

Elektroniskā versija nesatur pielikumus ; Anotācija Latvijas PSR represīvo iestāžu dokumenti kā vēstures avots 1940. – 1941. ; 1944. – 1991. Promocijas darbs veltīts Latvijas PSR represīvo iestāžu dokumentu kā vēstures avotu izpētei. Latvijas historiogrāfijā tēma līdz šim maz pētīta, jo daudzus gadus šie avoti pētniekiem nebija pieejami. Tēma iekļaujas plašākas tēmas – komunistiskā totalitārā režīma Latvijā izpētes ietvaros.Darba novitāte ir tā, ka no avotu kritikas viedokļa analizēti Latvijas PSR represīvo iestāžu ( VDK, Iekšlietu ministrijas, tiesu, prokuratūras u.c.) dokumenti kā vēstures avoti. Parādītas šo avotu specifiskās īpatnības un atklātas šo avotu izmantošanas iespējas Latvijas politiskās, administratīvās, sociālās, ekonomiskās un militārās vēstures tematiku ietvaros. The topic has been little studied in the Latvian historiography because the respective sources had been unaccessible to researchers for many years. The topic falls in the framework of a broader theme: the research into the the Communist totalitarian regime in Latvia. The novelty of the present thesis lays in the fact that the author evaluates sources of history: documents of the Soviet repressive bodies (KGB, Ministry of Interior, courts, prosecutor's offices, etc.) from the perspective of source studies. The thesis reveals the specifics of the respective sources and demonstrates the possibilities of using them in the research of different topics of the political, administrative, social, economic and military history of Latvia.
