La repercusión del régimen constitucional en la Iglesia de Lleida durante el trienio liberal

Abstract

At the beginning of the year 1820 Rafael de Riego's revolution restore the liberal regime in Spain. Lleida's church adapted correctly to the new political system. However, the legislative work of the liberal Spanish Parliament harmed seriously to all the political, economic and social structures of the ecclesiastic institution. With the radicalism of the liberal government there took place the break of the relations of the religious ones of Lleida's town hall, who a little time suffered the pursuit and the repression of the liberal authorities. Therefore, the balance of the liberal period was very negative and his enormous impact. ; A principios del año 1820 la revolución de Rafael de Riego instauró el régimen liberal en España. La Iglesia de Lleida se adaptó correctamente al nuevo modelo político. Pero la obra legislativa de las Cortes liberales perjudicó gravemente a todas las estructuras políticas, económicas y sociales de la institución eclesiástica. Con la radicalización del gobierno liberal se produjo la ruptura de las relaciones de los con el Ayuntamiento de Lleida, quiénes al poco tiempo sufrieron la persecución y la represión de las autoridades liberales.
