PERCEPTION OF THE RISK SITUATIONS BY THE MILITARY PERSONNEL OF THE NATIONAL GUARD OF UKRAINE AND THEIR PSYCHOLOGICAL READINESS FOR IT ; СПРИЙНЯТТЯ СИТУАЦІЙ РИЗИКУ ВІЙСЬКОВОСЛУЖБОВЦЯМИ НАЦІОНАЛЬНОЇ ГВАРДІЇ УКРАЇНИ ТА ПСИХОЛОГІЧНА ГОТОВНІСТЬ ДО НИХ

Abstract

The article presents the results of theoretical and practical studies of the perception of risky situations by military personnel of the National Guard of Ukraine and their readiness for it. The current state of the study of the psychological aspects of risk is analyzed. The concepts of "risk", "threat", "insecurity" are disclosed, an analysis of their differences is carried out. The author's definition of the concept of "psychological readiness for risk" is presented. Psychological readiness for risk is the person's ability to make adequate decisions about actions and achieve success in the performance of military-combat missions under life-threatening conditions, motivated by the internalized values of society and professional norms, using self-regulation skills, strong-willed qualities, professional competencies that are enhanced by mutual assistance between colleagues. The features of perception of risk, threat and stressful situations by the military personnel of the National Guard of Ukraine are determined. Risk is perceived by the military as an action, the result of which is unclear or is based on an unfounded hope of success; desire to experience adrenaline rush; the ability to fulfill an unusual desire; possible life failure; ability to go on adventures; situation of uncertainty. The readiness for risk of military personnel increases if there is a real threat to health or life, especially when it comes to the relatives and colleagues. The military associates the effectiveness of actions and achieving success with self-confidence, perseverance, self-control, professionalism and determination. Factors that affect the readiness for risk of military personnel: physical and psychological conditions; causes of risk; success of actions during risk and possible negative consequences.The professional and psychological training by the military personnel of the National Guard of Ukraine will provide an opportunity to adequately perceive risky situations and be psychologically prepared to act under threatening conditions. ; Подано результати теоретичного та емпіричного досліджень сприйняття ситуацій ризику військовослужбовцями Національної гвардії України та їхньої психологічної готовності до таких ситуацій у загрозливих умовах. Проаналізовано сучасний стан дослідження психологічних аспектів ризику. Розкрито поняття "ризикˮ, "загрозаˮ, "небезпекаˮ, проведено аналіз їх відмінностей. Визначено особливості сприйняття ризику, загроз та стресових ситуацій військовослужбовцями Національної гвардії України. Виявлено чинники, що впливають на готовність особового складу до ризику.
