Менталитет западноевропейских народов и его отражение в художественной культуре
Abstract
The article deals with the changing of the artistic currents and national characteristics of the Western cultures. Studying its reasons, the author rejects the widespread hypothesis about the predominating role of historical events and the social and political situation in a particular country. From the author's point of view, the greatest typological proximity is observed between the cultures of kindred nations that speak languages of the same group (in our case Romanic and Germanic). The author develops the ideas of Mme de Stael, W. Humboldt and K.G. Jung. ; The article deals with the changing of the artistic currents and national characteristics of the Western cultures.
