Abstract

Развитие демократии как важного конституционного принципа является одним из приоритетных направлений государственного развития. Уровень демократии, предполагающей вовлечение в процесс управления населения, находится в тесной взаимосвязи с уровнем развития и эффективностью функционирования местного самоуправления, т.к. именно оно является наиболее благоприятной сферой для повышения активности граждан. ; Democracy is an important constitutional principle and, therefore, its development is one of the main directions of a states politics. The level of democracy which presupposes the involvement of population into the governing process is closely connected with the level of local self-government development and efficiency of its functioning as it is local self-government that serves as the most favourable condition for increasing social activity.
