Filosofía, política y religión: las ambiguedades de Benedetto Croce

Abstract

La obra de Benedetto Croce ha sido fundamental en lo que respecta a la discusión en torno al desarrollo del hegelianismo en el siglo XX. Fue recepcionada desde diversas perspectivas. En este artículo nos ocupamos de distinguir dos líneas generales que dan como resultado tres interpretaciones disímiles. Por un lado, la línea continuista de Bobbio, que piensa a Croce a partir del marco teórico de la "progresiva formulación del liberalismo". Por el otro, la línea rupturista de Rossi, Lynch y Gramsci, que se concentran en el análisis de las contradicciones observables en el proyecto teórico de Croce, o bien en el interior de su propio historicismo, o bien a la luz de sus posiciones políticas en el Ministerio de Instrucción Pública y de sus ambiguas relaciones con la neoescolástica italiana. ; Benedetto Croce's work has been fundamental to the discussion of the development of Hegelianism in the twentieth century. It has been analyzed from different perspectives and in this paper we are concerned to distinguish two broad lines which have given rise to three dissimilar interpretations. On the one hand, there is the "continuist" line of Bobbio, who analyzes Croce from the theoretical perspective of the "progressive formation of liberalism". On the other, the "rupturist" line of Rossi, Lynch and Gramsci, which concentrates on the analysis of observable contradictions in Croce's theoretical project, whether within its own historicism, or in the light of the political positions Croce adopted within the Ministry of Public Education and his ambiguous relationship with Italian neo-scholasticism. ; Fil: Dip, Patricia Carina.
