Το παρόν άρθρο έχει διττό στόχο: την ανάδειξη της συμβολής των ποιοτικών μεθοδολογιών και της λογο-ψυχολογίας στο πεδίο του εκφοβισμού, καθώς και την ανάπτυξη ενός επιχειρήματος για την ανάλυση των ρητορικών περί του εκφοβισμού/κυβερνο-εκφοβισμού, βασισμένου στην προσέγγιση της Κριτικής Κοινωνικής Λογο-ψυχολογίας. Στον ελληνικό χώρο υπάρχει ένα σώμα θεσμικών παρεμβάσεων, αλλά και μη επίσημων θεσμικών παρεμβάσεων από την κοινωνία των πολιτών (civil society), που καθοδηγούνται από τις αρχές της συμπερίληψης, της δημοκρατικής πολιτειότητας και της Ψυχολογίας της Κοινότητας. Ενώ στην περίπτωση των θεσμικών, ή των μη επίσημων θεσμικών παρεμβάσεων, μπορούν να εντοπιστούν ηθικά διλήμματα ανθρωπισμού, ή το πρόταγμα της αναγνώρισης του πολιτικού υποκειμένου στις δράσεις εντός της σχολικής κοινότητας, στο παρόν άρθρο υποστηρίζεται πως τα ρεπερτόρια που χρησιμοποιούνται στον καθημερινό λόγο αντλούν από πολλαπλές και αντιφατικές θέσεις, που μπορεί να ενδυναμώνουν ή να αποδυναμώνουν το πολιτικό υποκείμενο. Στο παρόν άρθρο αναλύεται πώς οι εκπαιδευτικοί μιλούν για τον εκφοβισμό και την σχολική βία, χρησιμοποιώντας ρεπερτόρια που μπορεί να αποδυναμώνουν το παιδί/'θύμα', μέσω της χρήσης του ανθρωπιστικού λόγου, ενώ από την άλλη, μπορεί να ασκούν κριτική στην χρήση αποδυναμωτικών πρακτικών υποστήριξης του 'θύματος'. Στην κυρίως ανάλυση του παρόντος άρθρου αναδεικνύεται πώς οι κατασκευές που αντανακλούν την α-δυνατότητα της κριτικής αυτενέργειας του παιδιού/θύματος διασταυρώνονται με ρεπερτόρια που αφορούν τον εκδημοκρατισμό και την αυτονομία, αντανακλώντας διλημματικές θέσεις του φιλελευθερισμού. Conspiracy accounting is often regarded as an atypical, pathological form of political reasoning, and little research has considered how ordinary social actors may refer to political conspiracies in the course of argument. In this article, we consider the spontaneous use of conspiracy narratives by politically engaged Greek citizens in interview discussions of the Macedonian crisis. Analysis revealed that conspiracy narratives were typically used to challenge dominant representations that attributed the Macedonian crisis to Greek xenophobic nationalism. Specifically, conspiracy accounts were used to dispute assumptions concerning Greece's majority status by representing the political opposition as a consortium rather than a single out‐group, by recasting the threat posed to Greece as a matter of realistic rather than symbolic competition, and by extending the historical frame of reference to encompass past and prospective future threats to the Greek people and the Greek state. In conclusion, we note how the use of conspiratorial reasoning may be used to construct complex causal arguments concerning intergroup relations and to challenge dominant ideological assumptions about social hierarchy and political legitimacy. In this respect, conspiratorial reasoning might be regarded as a prototypical form of intergroup representation.

Conspiracy theories have recently come under the scrutiny of social psychology. While some theorists have treated them as a deficient way of thinking, others have considered them as a form of political rhetoric with important social implications. We focus on conspiracy theories in the context of online public deliberation on legislation allowing registration of self-defined gender in Greece. Employing the tools of Critical Discursive Psychology, we analyse comments posted on the Ministry of Justice's website created for public consultation about the law change. We focus on the mobilization of conspiracy theories by people who oppose Law 4491/2017 ("Legal Recognition of Gender Identity – National Mechanism for the Development, Monitoring and Evaluation of Action Plans on Children's Rights and Other Provisions"). These commentators often argued that powerful groups are behind the proposed legislation, aiming at decreasing Earth's population, disrupting moral order, and violating humanness. We demonstrate how these constructions helped participants to perform various tasks, such as delegitimizing the legislation while at the same time avoiding the stigma of prejudice, promoting far-right political practices, and rebutting accusations of political partisanship. The results are discussed in relation to conspiracy theories' role in countering "gender ideology" and in promoting cisgenderism and heteronormativity.

This article aims to explore the argumentative lines employed in an online public deliberation concerned with legislation on same‐sex civil union in Greece. Drawing on rhetorical and discursive developments in political social psychology and sexual citizenship debates, the article focuses on arguments regarding the relevance and the implications of public deliberation on the construction of LGBTQI+ claims and rights. The analytic corpus consisted of 1,000 comments, analyzed with the concepts and tools of Rhetorical and Critical Discursive Social Psychology. A recurring line of arguing against the legislation questioned the democratic quality of public deliberation, representing it as a means used to legitimize predetermined decisions. Moreover, overtly discriminatory arguments were predicated on the values of participatory democracy. Accounts in favor of the legislation, though, challenged public deliberation on the grounds that it allows room for the dispute of universal human rights. The potential contribution of these findings to the understanding of the dilemmas of participatory democracy, the reproduction of heteronormativity, and the assimilation of LGBTQI+ claims is discussed.
