El presente artículo aborda la necesidad que tiene el desarrollo sostenible y la educación ambiental de un contexto democrático para su consolidación, y describe cómo la relación que se da entre la democracia y la educación ambiental es recíproca, en la medida que trascienden expresiones políticas que requieren del pensamiento crítico y reflexivo para su fortalecimiento. Esta construcción teórica se hace desde la propuesta del filósofo norteamericano John Dewey (1916) para quien la democracia política se apoya en la participación ciudadana, entendida como una forma de vida dentro de la cual el pensamiento reflexivo es un elemento central que nos permite cooperar con el fin de solucionar los problemas sociales. ; This article addresses the necessity of considering sustainable development and environmental education in the consolidation of democracy, and describes how the relationship that exists between democracy and environmental education is reciprocal as it transcends political expressions that require reflexive and critical thought for its strengthening. La importancia de la democracia en la sociedad actual no se reduce a las jornadas electorales en las que los ciudadanos eligen a sus representantes al colocar su voto en una urna; son igualmente importantes los ejercicios de debate y persuasión que se dan en torno a estos procesos, los cuales nos permiten ver que la democracia también hace referencia a una forma de vida. En este sentido, el presente libro describe, de manera contextualizada y desde la perspectiva de John Dewey, algunas razones por las cuales la democracia, más allá de sus elementos políticos, debe ser entendida como una forma de vida. Además, establece algunas consecuencias que tiene para la educación esta manera de entender la democracia, no solo en relación con la función del maestro, sino también con el ejercicio de la libertad que debe caracterizar a las instituciones educativas.

RESUMO Após a introdução do Plano Real em 1994, o Brasil seguiu um caminho dinâmico que implicava: a) uma forte valorização da taxa de câmbio real, gerando uma deterioração significativa das Contas Correntes e Comercial e eb) um uso pesado de empréstimos estrangeiros manutenção de taxas de juros muito altas para atrair novos capitais, a fim de financiar esses déficits. Dados os números envolvidos no experimento brasileiro, esse caminho não é sustentável a longo prazo, pois a dívida externa cresce de forma explosiva, implicando que, mais cedo ou mais tarde, precisará ser corrigida. Este artigo apresenta algumas simulações mostrando algumas restrições que um caminho de equilíbrio deve satisfazer.

Este trabalho pretende mostrar que, dados uma taxa de crescimento da renda domestica, uma taxa de juros a ser paga sobre a divida externa e um nivel de endividamento externo inicial, e possivel definir uma trajetoria para o deficit em transacoes correntes e valores compativeis para o saldo da balanca comercial. As diversas simulacoes apresentadas mostram que os limites dentro dos quais o deficit em transacoes correntes pode evoluir sem engendrar uma trajetoria explosiva do endividamento externo, sao muito estreitos e que o Brasil encontra-se atualmente fora dessa trajetoria. The following article will be focused on highlight the appropriateness of Sandra Contreras' proposition (2018) about the return of realism desire in experimental aesthetics like Cesar Aira's oeuvre and should spread to contemporary authors like Hernán Vanoli, due to his practice of a type of dystopian fiction proportional to an action compulsion and a paranoid imaginary of expressionist dimensions. We´ll point out the effects and limitations of this interpretation –in accordance with prominent sci-fi critics– in order to understand a kind of postgeneric textuality, that's not reluctant to the cognoscitive function of classic realisms, by means of the invention of a particular form which textualizes the political unconscious of globalized capitalism. ; El siguiente trabajo estará abocado a poner de relieve la pertinencia del planteo de Sandra Contreras (2018) acerca del modo en que retorna el deseo de realismo en estéticas experimentales como la de César Aira y debería hacerse extensivo a autores contemporáneos como Hernán Vanoli, por practicar un tipo de ficción distópica, proporcional a una compulsión por la acción y un imaginario paranoico de dimensiones expresionistas. Se señalarán los efectos y limitaciones de esa lectura –en consonancia con la de críticos destacados de la CF– para la comprensión de un tipo de textualidad posgenérica que no es reticente a la función cognoscitiva de los realismos clásicos, mediante la invención de una forma particular que textualiza el inconsciente político del capitalismo globalizado.

Here, we review the available information about the distribution, abundance and diversity of this member of the Bacteroidetes. ; Our work on Salinibacter since 2000 has been supported by several grants of the Spanish Ministry of Science and Education (SMCE), and the Valencia local Government. This article examines Franco-Spanish political relations in the period from 1610 to 1625 as represented in Spanish poetry and paintings produced in Spain or in the Spanish theatre of influence. The early seventeenth century was a time of cautious rapprochement and powerful underlying tensions between these nations. Two events of major significance are explored: the assassination of Henry IV of France in May 1610 and the reciprocal Bourbon-Habsburg marriages of 1615. The assassination is reflected in funeral sonnets by Góngora, Quevedo, Lope de Vega, and the Conde de Villamediana, while Henri himself and the marriages were portrayed by Rubens, envoy of the Infanta Isabel Clara Eugenia, Governor of Flanders, in his series on the life of Henri's widow, Marie de Médicis (1625). This article considers the interplay of poetry and politics in these two complementary art forms and their effect on the legacy of Henri IV in Habsburg lands.

Jean Franco: otra política para el arte
The role that popular tradition, invented or "genuine" but presented from a privileged position, plays in nationalist political movements is well known. Similar to other totalitarian systems, the Spanish Francoist regime (1939-75) appropriated and misused folklore in various ways. In this article I survey several of these uses, such as the strengthening of political legitimacy—actually enforced through a coup and a bloody civil war—by resorting to some supposedly pristine, spiritual values of the Spanish people, as symbolized by the peasantry. Other uses of folklore were the practical exploitation of models, symbols, and characters of traditional poetry to present an epic image of Franco and his regime and the recourse to folk music presentations abroad with diplomatic and propagandistic purposes. ; Peer reviewed
