Clearly, with the current growth of mobile devices, it would be useful for all these elements to be accessible from this type of branch. This article carries out a study of the main languages used for the development of virtual museums and their possible adaptation for use on mobile devices. In particular, the following technologies will be assessed: Flash, VRML and X3D. The initial work carried out to adapt the Virtual Iberian Art Museum developed in previous work with the aim of displaying it on a Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 device with an Android operating system will also be described. This work has been partially subsidised by the Regional Ministry of Innovation, Science and Enterprise of the Junta de Andalucía under project P07-TIC-02773 and by the Ministry of Education and Science of Spain and the European Union through the ERDF funds, under the research project TIN2011-25259 Robles Ortega, MD.
